It's a nice place to stay, the breakfast is very varied and rich, the rooms aren't bad, they're spacious, the beds were comfortable, the cabinets are big, the cleanliness is right, the quality/price ratio is adjusted, there's nothing to be upset about.

A good starting point to discover Badén Baden.

When we arrived, the manager was not a merchant at all, an unpleasant and antipathetic person. We asked him for water to go hiking, he replied very badly that the water in the rooms was clean and we had to deal with it. We asked him for a bill, he replied that he didn't bother to wait outside and refused to write our names on the bills.

Get out of here!

We booked two nights as part of my birthday. The room is very nice, large and spacious. The gentleman (the owner I suppose) is extremely kind, with little care. The breakfast was very nice. We had a great stay.

A very pleasant stay

A few kilometers from Baden Baden, in a quiet and pleasant village, the Gasthaus Linde has everything to enjoy: large house, spacious rooms, private parking, very complete breakfast... The problem is elsewhere. No reception worthy of this name; despite the emails indicating the arrival times you have to retrieve the keys to your room in a flat placed on the ground at the back of the house by spotting its number on a listing! Until breakfast, you see few people. And even there, the exchanges are reduced to a minimum. The reception is not unpleasant but. Totally complete.

Correct though.

This was an ideal setting for us with ample parking for our bikes. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a very good shower. The views from the room were good, a couple of rooftops and open countryside. Close to restaurants. The breakfast was very good with a good choice.

Good location

There were no blankets on the bed, the closets in the hallway had to be searched for reference, and the ceiling itself had to be searched. Batteries ran out in the remote control, the remote control was unusable. The lamp in the bathroom was so poor that one could barely shave. The handle of the dressing box was broken off. The carpet was stained. Breakfast was sufficient.

It's bad.

Very "basic" structure offers a good base for visiting Strasbourg and Baden Baden. The room is spacious but with minimal facilities (hairdryer and hand soap) it does not offer great extra comfort, at times it was too hot despite the heating off ...
Discreet breakfast .. the first day we were the only guests .. the slices of bread covered with the film were really sad.
Chocolate cream \ stale nutella ...
The following days there was also a savory buffet of cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts etc ... supplied as needed but still minimal.
In my opinion the rate does not correspond to the level of service that I would have expected; I think in the area, I would look for different solutions next time

very basic

This is a pleasant hotel and good value for money, its breakfast was great really good omlet. Although the previous reviews mention the location of the keys, we were walking around for a bit with no idea on what to do on how to get in. It was all part of the fun. Its close to the Autobahn and a great first stop if you are biking in the Black forest. I was a little annoyed about the other guests as there isn't really anywhere to sit at night and there was a make shift area outside the front of the building.

The hotel is split into different buildings so you just need to get your bearings when you arrive.

All in all not bad but possibly wouldn't go back.
