This was an ideal setting for us with ample parking for our bikes. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a very good shower. The views from the room were good, a couple of rooftops and open countryside. Close to restaurants. The breakfast was very good with a good choice.

Good location

Very "basic" structure offers a good base for visiting Strasbourg and Baden Baden. The room is spacious but with minimal facilities (hairdryer and hand soap) it does not offer great extra comfort, at times it was too hot despite the heating off ...
Discreet breakfast .. the first day we were the only guests .. the slices of bread covered with the film were really sad.
Chocolate cream \ stale nutella ...
The following days there was also a savory buffet of cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts etc ... supplied as needed but still minimal.
In my opinion the rate does not correspond to the level of service that I would have expected; I think in the area, I would look for different solutions next time

very basic

This is a pleasant hotel and good value for money, its breakfast was great really good omlet. Although the previous reviews mention the location of the keys, we were walking around for a bit with no idea on what to do on how to get in. It was all part of the fun. Its close to the Autobahn and a great first stop if you are biking in the Black forest. I was a little annoyed about the other guests as there isn't really anywhere to sit at night and there was a make shift area outside the front of the building.

The hotel is split into different buildings so you just need to get your bearings when you arrive.

All in all not bad but possibly wouldn't go back.

Nice rooms, quiet village

Just a few doors away from Appotel.  Food and service were great and this became my favorite restaurant in Dobel.  Great soups in addition German fare.  Used restaurant only & seemed to have parking alongside.

We arrived to find our keys in a basket along with several others on the doorstep and no instruction as to where our room was. The lady owner came out when we were trying to guess what to do next and told us where we had to go.
Very little English spoken and the owner wasnt so friendly but that said the accomodation was good for short stays - we only booked one night, it was well located for the B500 road for our ongoing trip into Austria and on into Italy.
We travelled into Baden Baden for good restaurants as there didn't seem to be anything local to the guest house.
Breakfast was a good buffet with all the usual things and plenty of it.
Parking was good, wifi was not the best, good shower.
No real complaints and we would probably use again.

Basic clean good breakfast

Stayed here as part of a group attending the Dance World Cup in Offenburg in June 2017. Superb B&B,  with lovely rooms, comfortable beds, and a brilliant breakfast. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The system for collecting the keys works really well, and the rooms are secure and safe.
The photos do not do the rooms justice at all - the rooms are spacious, comfy and clean, and not at all youth-hostelly  (as the photos seem to suggest).
The only reason Gasthaus Linde doesn't receive 5 stars is because there's no way to make drinks in the rooms (& as a Brit, the ability to make a cup of tea is really important!).
Thank you for making our stay in Germany a comfortable one - if we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stay with you again!
