This hotel has excellent amenities. Easy parking. Excellent cuisine. Nice & polite staff. Very clean in general. Old style decorated together with modern elements. The TV is a wide screen and it has international channels.

Hotel Thum

I stayed here 2days as a part of a business trip and I was satisfied with everything. I arrived by car and it was easy to find the hotel and park the car. There were enough parking place in front of the hotel. The hotel is right next to the noisy road 27, but my room was on the other side of the hotel, so it didn't bother me at all. My room was a bit small, but still big enough for one person. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was also good and I couldn't wish for more. The center of Balingen isn't far, the main walking street is available with a 10 minutes walk. For a few days stay I recommend this hotel.

Pleasent hotel just off the main highway. Nice staff and fine room at a very reasonable rate. Restaurant provides fine food in summer they have a cosy veranda. Car park is public around the hotel and railway station is some 10min. wallk

Fine place for business travellers

This hotel in the little picturesque town of Balingen is not to be missed.  The accommodations are very spacious and spotless.  The restaurant serves traditional food for the Black Forest region, and also incorporates seasonal fare (e.g, white asparagus) when available.  It is within walking distance of the downtown plaza wih many shops and cafes, ice cream stand, parks, etc.  The Meyer family (proprietors) are very friendly and speak English fluently.  They go above and beyond to satisfy your every need.  I've visited here once with my husband and enjoyed it so much I returned with my mother and sister for a visit in May and was treated again to outstanding service and food.

Immaculate Hotel, friendly staff, and wonderful German food!

This is a lovely hotel and restaurant on the outskirts of Balingen.  Our recently refurbished room was modern in design and style; very comfortable and homely.  The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly within the restaurant and at breakfast.  We decided to eat our evening meal in the hotel's restaurant - it was well frequented by locals ( a good sign) - we enjoyed well prepared, good food presented by friendly staff.  The hotel is very close to a main road and there is traffic noise throughout the night but despite occupying a room at the front of the hotel we were not overly affected by noise and had a reasonably good night's sleep.
