A modern small hotel in the east of Aschaffenburg. It is well suited for both business and private trips. An extensive breakfast, friendly staff service. A pleasant atmosphere. In the neighbourhood there is a business and an Edeka market, a gas station is nearby. We felt very comfortable staying here after a New Year's Eve party (somewhere else).

Gateway to Spessart

After having to look for a new six-person quarters (including a wheelchair) in Aschaffenburg for a very short time due to a broken booking, we found a very nice quarters in the Hotel Cristall. Very clean rooms, good breakfast and very friendly pesonal. Can only be warmly recommended. Except for a small step in the entrance area, it is also almost barrier-free.

Very nice stay.

While travelling by car from the Netherlands to Austria, we usually make a stop half way. We are two adults and 2 kids.  Hotel Cristall is situated in Haibach, near Aschaffenburg and very close to the A3. 
The hotel offers a great family room, consisting of 2 separate rooms as well as a bathroom.  The rooms are clean and nice, both rooms gave a TV and good free WLAN/WIFI is available.
Also breakfast is good and staff is friendly.
The price, being 145 euro including breakfast for four, is also fair.
The hotel does not offer dinner, but several good restaurants are very close by.
We will stay here again, highly recommended.

Great hotel for one night travelling on A3

Price reading ok, nice staff, also suitable for groups. on our group trip there was a birthday surprise for breakfast, which was accompanied by a disorderly house (with sectarian gossip), rooms were unfortunately without climate, and this was the hottest weekend of the year, but that doesn't deter us from coming back.

Nice opportunity

Although the hotel is not the last scream, it's basically okay. We had a room in the back with a nice view. It was also quieter - but you can hear morning flights in the airplane. Overall, the rooms are quite bright. The bed was good - the bedding is beautifully white and reinforced. The bathroom is practically with a large shower that comes from a decent water. The performance of the free Wi-Fi was 1A. Parking was free. The welcome was very friendly and the service was attentive.

It's simple, but it's okay.

The hotel is partly quite modern, partly aged. The rooms are being renovated gradually. Nevertheless, the rooms are completely in order in terms of facilities, comfort and cleanliness! The breakfast is also quite good to call. The Internet is freely usable and easily accessible.

Small family-run hotel near Aschaffenburg

We were looking for a clean, comfortable hotel near Aschaffenburg.  Cristall exceeded our expectations.  The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff friendly, and the hot & cold breakfast buffet was excellent.  It is a very well run hotel in its class, not luxurious, but comfortable.
It is a great value.

Clean, Comfortable & Great Value

I was travelling to Afschaffenburg this week and had made reservations at hotel Edel (in Haibach) over the internet.  To my unhappy surprise when I arrived at hotel Edel, the lady opening the door told me that she had never heard of me, was not expecting and my room had been given away (a bit contradictory story to say the least...).  So there I was, close to night time and no place to sleep.  A bit annoying to say the least.  
I opened my box of apps on my cellphone and looked what else was on offer nearby.  Technology pointed me to hotel Cristall, about 100metres away.  

I drove there, parked my car in what looked as if it was the parking lot for a fysiologist-practice (situated ground level), found the door on the side with the sign saying that the reception was on the second floor.  It sounded a bit funny to me in the beginning.  But wait: there is more, in a good way :-)... !

When I arrived with the elevator on the second floor, I walked up to the reception and was greeted by a very kind young lady who turned out to be the owner of the hotel.  She speaks German and English.  She was quick to understand my situation and yes, she did have a room free.  Two person bed room, simple, very very clean, shower, W-Lan (for free folks !), free cable-TV, in a very clean and recently re-decorated hotel. 

For only 65,- euro a night, including breakfast.  

I slept like a rose in a very quiet room in a fresh and comfortable bed.  

I woke up and started out for breakfast.  Breakfast itself was simple, but al the stuff was morning fresh.  Honey from a local farm, fresh bread rolls and kaiserbrodchen, fresh farmers eggs (yummy :-) ), meats, salads, and coffee served warm to your table.  What does one want more?

A reservation that turned bad led to me having to take a room in a hotel that did not expect me. 
I was treated as very respected and welcome guest, had a very easy and comfortable stay in what I would call a 3-star hotel that gives a bit more than standard quality for this level at a superbly affordable price.  The kind welcome and very kind treatment (and simple but very fresh and nice breakfast) I was treated to, made my short stay feel like I had a bit of home away from home. 

PS: parking is free and there is a good restaurant not 4 minutes on foot nearby.  The food there is very good for a very low price and service was good too (again I give two "!!"-'s). 

In all: I give a 4 out of 5 for this - to my opinion - example of good Bayerish-German hospitality, kindness and quality.  Especially if you consider the price per night and overall reception and quality for what I paid and received.

Thank you hotel Cristall !! When ever I'm in the neighbourhood, I will make sure to stay with you again.

Cristall - unexpectedly very nice service for a very nice price

Perfect, had to stay because Hotel Edel in Haibach was closed, although booked in advance, left me standing in the middel of the night and had to search for another hotel.

Found this Hotel, Perfect! Will be coming back next time. 

Perfect service, perfect rooms and great breakfast.
