The guest rooms are small, typical Bavarian atmosphere from the 1970s. Who likes it....The house was very quiet, I didn't hear anything from the other guests. There is a large living room - furnishings: above plus a lot of plastic flowers. A sign indicates that brought food is not allowed here. The next prohibition: the prepared glasses can only be used for home drinks. The wines offered are very simple, are sold too expensive. The biggest disadvantage: the breakfast buffet.

Coming into the years

Through the Internet we came across Pension Sonneneck, because for a short vacation in the Bavarian forest we were looking for a place where motorcyclists are welcome and there is a garage, or a garage for the vehicles. The rooms are simple, nostalgically furnished and purposeful. Just like the little bathroom. Also important because we wanted to use the room only for sleeping. It was very clean. The cleaning the second day was also thorough. Washing and shower products were available. Bathrooms and sauna beds were ready for us at the reception as you get into the pleasure of the spa area of the adjacent brunche garden, and the spa spa area of the adjacent brunche garden can be enjoyed for many years and the free snacks came with the brunche garden. Short motorcycle vacation

We were in the boarding house with our grandson in February, where we had booked a double room with a bed. The breakfast and the wellness facilities in the wellyard were really good. The bed was an old folding bed with a sloping mattress and an unflattened bed. The bed was flat because the bed-to-bed transport rollers were missing. This caused the beds to be about four to five centimeters high in the middle. We showed the lack to the host but the replacement bed was just as bad.

Not recommended for use on beds

This is the second time I've been in the sunshine. The first time I've been in 2012 is now in October. I can only recommend this boarding house. The breakfast, see pictures, is super delicious, made with love. You can relax superbly in the neighboring wellyard. Just a few meters across the street and you're in the wellness area. The family is super warm and you feel instantly coming. A super boarding house, just to feel good. We're coming back, like many of the regular guests, happy.

Relaxing pure!

The Pension Sonneneck is an ideal neighbourhood for motorcyclists with the hotel Brunnenhof (against it). While the bike is well protected in a large underground garage, you can enjoy a very well-equipped wellness area and the hotel's cozy restaurant with good food. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the rooms at the hotel because we were staying in the guesthouse. This one is relatively simple, but it is very comfortable and the bathrooms have been remodeled. But what we must definitely mention is the extremely large hospitality of the operators! They were not only very friendly, but they also made a lot of effort to all our needs and were simply hearty overall.

Very good pension for motorcyclists

We were only there for one night, but we were satisfied. The rooms were clean and there was a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. The pool, etc. You have to cross the street to another hotel, but that's okay. There are locking spins and a changing room. We also booked a snowboard course with equipment at the family gym. Here too everything worked out great. We would book the sunset again!

It's a nice pension.

I stayed for one night as part of a cycling break with my girlfriend.

Nice room, pleasant check-in and good views from the balcony.  Very nice swimming pool over the road included in the price, with sauna, jacuzzi and steam rooms.  Breakfast was also good and although we were one of the last down to breakfast, on request the lady made us fresh boiled eggs as the last ones had already gone.

Before checkout, I asked if it would be possibly to have a short swim and check out slightly later, but this was bluntly refused and we had to stick to the 10:30am checkout, which we thought was very early for a Sunday morning.

We'd stayed the previous night at the Pension Elan, and overall we preferred the Elan.  The Sonneneck is still an excellent choice, we just found the Elan to be friendlier and welcoming.
