The hotel is located directly on the main street and has its own parking space right next to the hotel. We were very kindly received by the owner. The hotel itself, due to the age of the building, is relatively dark (a lot of dark wood). Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom is also very dark for our taste and has also come from the design of the years. The rooms and the rest of the rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet is manageable, but for this everything was very fresh. There was even homemade marmalade. All in all, it was perfectly fine for a night. We are happy to come back.

Simple hotel with good service and large rooms

The Hotel Dietz in Bopfingen deserves in our eyes more the name single accommodation than the title Hotel. The furnishings are more than simple, the furniture as well as much of the furnishing of this house is in need of renovation; the bathroom is more than small, at least clean. The breakfast is also presented as very modest; drinks are available only from an automaton, food is not offered. The feeling of well-being is different. That our overall rating is not poor nonetheless is due to the friendly reception and the hard work of the owner.

Rather a simple accommodation than a hotel

We stayed at the Dietz based on a recommendation and lookup from another site. Rooms are cozy and each has a slightly different motif. Trade relies heavily on booking groups and tourists for 1-2 night stays. Ground floor feels like a hostel, not in a good way. Saw the kitchen, wouldn't call it clean, and our toilet could have used a good scrubbing as well. Hallway to our floor recalled the 70's era of shag carpet and stone/wood decoration. Beds are comfortable, stairwells echo noise loudly. Hotel has an odor of something stale mixed with laundry detergent. Originally slated for a 3 night stay, we cut it to one night partly due to the overall feel and cleanliness and a change in plans. If you absolutely need to be in Bopfingen, it's walking distance to anything in the central district.

Not bad, but not charming...

Qualified and friendly staff, quiet place, with a beautiful view of Mount Ipf Servis even in the rooms.Classy ambiance, Set of our individual hotel rooms, flat screen TV and some with balcony equipped with bathroom/shower/toilet. Our boarding house for long stays also offers a kitchenette and a terrace.
