The restaurant was very cozy and well decorated. You could really feel comfortable. The staff was friendly. The food was good and rich. The price was not in relation to the food, however. The food was absolutely overpriced, so we saw it as a real takeover. Absolutely shameless and not to explain with quality or coronation. We never come back here because we were very upset about it. We can't give information about the hotel, however.

Food is absolutely overpriced

The Mohr`s Herzl Chalet is characterized by a huge love of detail in the furnishing and furnishing of the guest room. The outdoor area can also be very convincing by the integration of the terrace into the garden environment with small ponds around the seating areas. The breakfast had a good selection and also stir and mirrors were on offer. Whoever chooses room No. 4, but should pay attention to the size and width of the shower. For the man with a little more cross, the shower is at all, definitely fast).

A dreamy weekend at the Havel

It's a very friendly little hotel, very clean, lovely and romantic, very loving and satisfying breakfast, very good dinner, very much to recommend and worth a trip.

Short vacation

At proud prices, the food surprises us as a supposed low-cold food from roast to slice. The highly acclaimed slice plate turned out to be a rather unloving and dry snack. Slightly tasty, even less pleasant. However, our southern waiter delighted us by lowering the noise of the radio + being friendly.

More appearance than being

Unfortunately, nothing good can be reported. We had booked an overnight at Booking.com, which was also confirmed. On the evening of the planned stay we were in a completely unlit parking lot in front of the hotel, with no lights at the hotel. The cafe - according to Aushang open until 10 p.m. - was also dark. The specified phone number was repeatedly called, but there was only a license plate. So on a rainy evening we were with an eight-week-old child in front of a closed door.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon and I was more than amazed at the great and tasty wooden house including garden and seating / islands 👍in the middle of Brandenburg land

Mohr’s Herzl Chalet hotel is a family owned and operated establishment, located in Töplitz. Potsdam is at 14kms and Tegel Airport is at 29kms. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is quite new and built in a Swiss chalet style, offers 12 rooms and has a restaurant. Töplitz has some Swiss history. In the late 17th century several Swiss families settled here as farmers. Töplitz is unimpressive but the surrounding landscape is nice and fine for walking and cycling. The Havel River is at walking distance.

Our room was tastefully furnished and decorated and had a good double bed with quality bed-linen. No coffee & tea making facility in the room. The room had a flatscreen TV, wardrobe, a comfort seat, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet, floor heating and a futuristic shower cubicle with build-in radio. Breakfast was very good with amply variety.

Windows can be opened but have no mosquito screens. Notwithstanding the many nearby lakes and waterways we were at night not disturbed by mosquitos. Surprisingly the hotel has no Wi-Fi Internet and doesn’t accept credit or debit cards. 

Mohr’s Herzl Chalet hotel is a nice accommodation but seen its location slightly overpriced. Nonetheless we had a pleasant stay.
