Location plus personnel minus. check-in by keysafe, yes, if in the safe there was a key with my name as announced by mail from the hotel. Lapidare reply after a call from me: Then they just take the key with another name. Hello???? Where is the security of the guest in this hotel? In the room light at the bed sign, night lamp defected. Again call, the annoying note you can recommend me a few other hotels in the area. Ah, so this is how it goes, at about 24 o'clock in the night you can say that in the Rhineland in German: Guest, please. Short talk in the morning at the reception, but you want to have breakfast but I would love to get you a very early snack.

The only plus is the situation

Apart from the large industrial areas, this hotel is in a quiet location in the middle of a smaller town. Parking lots, Wi-Fi, adequately equipped rooms - everything there. Very friendly management of the house. In the 90s the CDU (Kohl and Angie, etc.) came over from Bonn for the savings lectures. Images from this era can be seen in the house. However, the room furnishings and sanitary facilities are also from this time and are already almost in need of renovation.

years old, but clean

We were there for one night. Check-in was only possible at 17:00 (before no one was reached by phone and not even via house bell). Hotel seems small and loving, comfortable. Rooms are also very nice. Unfortunately, however, really quite bright and under our bed was still a used oropax from the previous one, which suggests a moderate cleaning. Hotel information attacked and dirty (range of glasses/cups, etc.) > urgently needed or lamination.

Very clear-eyed

The hotel was picked because it was close to family.  Adequate but very small room and bathroom and my bed was exceedingly uncomfortable.  I assume the mattress was old and it's construction pushed a hard object into my back.  I mentioned it to staff in the morning but during our stay it was not resolved.  The breakfast was generous.

Pleasant Hotel but tiny room.

The hotel itself is very nice. Unfortunately, there are too many disadvantages: 1. If you get a room on the second floor, unfortunately you have lost. - There is no air conditioning! Specifically, this means that the room has unreasonable temperatures. (Outside temperature was 28°C on the 28th of July today) 2. There is no mosquito net or anything like that. If a room doesn't have air conditioning, that's not so great, but you could provide the guests with relief by getting a mosquito net, for example, because it went down.

Not recommended in the summer!

A decent and clean hotel in a good location near the Phantasialand amusement park. We booked the room for 2 nights including free WiFi. Large trains with a nice shower, delicious breakfast with a good selection. The staff are very friendly and helpful, gave us good tips for leisure opportunities in the area. Our stay here impressed us, gladly again.

We spend there one night in August in a nice, quite and newly renovated room.
To reach the Hotel you need a car, but parking is for free.
The room was clean and good equipped.
The breakfast was included in the price with a normal selection of food for a hotel breakfast.
The restaurant offers good traditional meals in the evening for a fair price.
