We enjoyed a short stay during the Brauneberg Wine Festive last year in this lovely family hotel. 
Pro's: 
1. The location: on a quiet hill, surrounded by beautiful vineyards. So no busy traffic or traffic noise that you can have on the main street of Brauneberg. 
From here you can also directly start your hike in the vineyards?
2. The room: very comfortable, clean and spacious. 
3. The breakfast: a buffet with good varieties of food (continental breakfast), and delicious grape juice from their own winery. The buffet is always filled in on time. 
4. The winery: the winery is located directly at the hotel, and you can enjoy their products (wines of grape juice) at their beautiful terrace, in your room, or you can bring them home along with you. 
5. Dogs are welcome, though you have to pay extra. 
6. The owner and her staff are really friendly. 

Contra's: 
1. The location: if you want to go to the river of Mosel, you have to hike down around 10-15 minutes. When you go back, it is a uphill hike, though ;-) 
The hotel is also quiet far from shops and restaurants, so you'd better have a bike or a car. The closest big supermarkets is around 5 minutes drive with the car. 
2. No elevator: for us this is not a problem, but can be difficult for disabled guests or people with heavy luggage.

Lovely hotel in the middle of the vineyards

Had a delightful stay. The views of the surrounding vineyards are incredible and it is such a peaceful place.

My husband, Baby and I drove from The Netherlands with friends. We stayed in a Double Room with Balcony which was a nice size (enough room for the travelcot) and it was clean and modern. Our friends stayed in the Panorama Studio Apartment which was huge, and handily came with a cooling system (though it was a bit noisy). 

The owners couldn’t be more helpful. Lacking inspiration one day, they suggested a trip to Bernkasteel- Kues which was a lovely town to visit, and we took a nice boat trip there. 

Breakfast was fine, there was enough choice. There is also a self-service fridge to buy wine or water, which was handy.

The terrace is pretty to sit out on the long summer nights, though there wasn’t any shade and so it was much too warm in the day. 

All-in-all, it was a wonderful stay. 



A gem of a place

For the second on those premises  (5years ago) and nothing has changed (this is positive ) walls as white, floor as clean, wine as tasteful, breakfast as much (how much is too much? I don't know yet 😄).

So beautiful 

We stayed in this hotel/B&B for 3 nights while visiting the WRC Rallye Deutschland. It was conveniently located, close to one of the trials (walking distance).

In general we liked the hotel. Nice clean rooms with good beds and an adequate bedroom. The shower is a bit small but OK. Breakfast was good and varied, including salmon, scrambled eggs, yoghurts etc.

Only small criticism was that even though there were several guests visiting the WRC there was no option to have an early breakfast on the day the rally started early. Breakfast is from 8-10. We would have been happy with coffee and some sandwiches at 7, but this was not possible. Lucky for us the bakery in town offers coffee and sandwiches as early as 6.00.

Nice little hotel along the Mosel river

We can highly recommend this hotel. It is emmaculate and the family are very friendly and helpful.  Our room is more than adequate with a balcony overlooking the vineyard and terrace/pond area. They operate an honesty bar where you have a card and mark down what bottles of wine you take. There is also beer and soft drinks.  On Friday's they have a wine tasting of most of their own wines, which are delicious! Breakfast is good on a self service basis. It would be even better if they did evening meals as the restaurants are quite spread out around the village but a walk can do you good.
