How's the serenity?! Coffeehouse was an excellent place to stay. Close to Bremen's premier sites and a nice little shopping/restaurant strip, this conveniently located house is peaceful, beautiful, tidy and clean.

There's a fridge for storing things you may want to cook, a kettle, a stove and a coffee machine for all the Caffeine-Heads out there.

It's ultra convenient and there's little-to-no contact with the actual owner, although it's not a bad thing. Just type in your passcode that you received in your email and POP comes out a key to your room.

One thing to note though - make sure you leave the room payment in the payment box (as well as any drinks you may have purchased from the fridge). Even if you forget though, the owner allows for bank payment and PayPal, so everything's all fine and dandy.

Highly recommended. Would visit again!!

The Perfect Escape

Myself, my sister and my mum have just returned from visiting my nephew who is currently living in Oldenburg, all 4 of us stayed in the large apartment at the coffeehouse and it was an easy check in (even in the dark) with a key code releasing the key. The apartment was spacious with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, double bed and 2 double sofa beds. It was very clean, lovely and cosy and cave like, we loved it and will be returning there if we ever visit Bremen in the future. Within walking distance of centre, train station and restaurants, loved it, only fault was coffee machine leaked and didn't work very well, maybe an investment in a new one would make this place perfection!

Amazing apartment that catered for all the family!

Located 10 minutes or so from Bremen HB, The Coffee House is ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood but with easy access to bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by. 

I stayed in apartment 7 in the basement, I chose this specifically as it had 2 bedrooms which I wanted for reasons of privacy. 

However the layout isn't two separate bedrooms, more open plan with access to the kitchen from one and the bathroom from the other - great for a family, not so great for couples, though there is a bed settee in the living room as well which had a door between it and the main bedroom. 

The apartment was great value, very clean but quite basic too. It would have benefitted from some working lamps for reading instead of relying on the very bright overhead lights. 

For an apartment for up to 6 we were only given one key, this wasn't an issue for us but it may be for others. There's no iron or ironing board either. 

The kitchen was basic but ample with microwave, two hot plates, fridge, sink, coffee maker and kettle with plenty basic utensils and crockery.

Overall the flat was quirky, fun and comfortable, the heating is great as is the coffee machine! Location is good. Probably ideal for a family or groups who don't mind sharing. 6 adults would probably be a squeeze but there are sufficient beds for this number. 

Would definitely stay again for the price.

Clean and Basic

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at the Coffeehouse in Bremen before we caught our flight to Porto. Free parking in the streets.The residence is situated in the heart of the artistic quarter Das Viertel. Lot's of nice restaurants and bars are close by and just a short walk away to the ancient quarter Schnoor. The room was clean, fresh and tidy. Complementary coffee and tea are offered as is free Wifi (tea was missing). Even though we were shortly disturbed in our sleep by noisy tourists in front of our room, we know for fact that usually the street is quiet. 4 Out of 5 stars since you'll have to make your own bed (linnen etc. provided), the drain of the sink in the bathroom was leaking and the watertemperature of the shower varied now and then.

Perfect location, comfortable room

Location is good, close to the center, very conveniet to explore the city. There are lots of bakeries around to get breakfast and restraunts as well. A bit noisy in the morning though.
The room was not so spacious, but clean and light.
