I enjoyed this hotel very much and can sincerely recommend it to everyone who enjoys beautiful scenery, superb food and great local wines. We had our dinners in the nearby restaurant “Altes Zollhause” and it was a bullseye: tasty food and great views from the terrace to the river Mosel. We used the hotel’s wellness area with panoramic sauna, steam room and attached roof top terrace every evening and it was an oasis of serenity after a long day of cycling and sightseeing. The hotel is meticulously clean and well kept. Everything on the breakfast was fresh and tasty including good coffee. You can also order all kind of egg dishes for breakfast and sit by the gorgeous balcony or indoors with a beautiful place setting. This is also a perfect place to practise your German, but the staff also speak fluent English if can’t remember all the words in German after a tasty evening with wine tasting in the nearby wine cellars.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location

A beautiful owner-run hotel. Ideal for a stopover, but also for a few days longer. (We had 4 Ü). The hotel is the best hotel in Beilstein and deserves 4 stars plus. We had a suite and it was really chic. High-end furnishings and stylish minimalist with great size and modern bathroom. But also the other rooms make a good impression. From the rooftop you have a nice view of the castle ruins of Metternich. Great for a sack in the evening. Wellness areas we didn't use. Breakfast was delicious and especially dinner in our own restaurant Old Zollhaus right by the Mosel was a delightful breakfast. In particular Mosel. In the Romanesque Mosel. Not to forget, if we come back here with a few days of peaceful atmosphere, we can enjoy everything in the nearby Mosel.

I do tend to visit Beilstein one/two times a year and try to stay overnight so i can drink delightful wine at my favorite Zehnthauskeller. Last time i stayed at this hotel. It has parking spaces in front of the door, which is very convenient. Rooms itself are basic, but comfortable and have everything you need. The most fabulous part of the hotel is a small spa area. It is really a jewel. Two saunas, one of which has the view of the Metternich Ruins and cozy area directly outside with Ruins/Moselle view. There is also a fridge full of goodies (i e wine, beer and so on) which you can enjoy directly on the terrace outside- sensational. The only thing that could be improved in my opinion (at least a little bit), is breakfast. I don’t know, maybe it was due to Covid but the choice wasn’t so good. Nonetheless I’ll stay again (probably this year) and can certainly recommend. 

One of the best hotels in Beilstein 

The food was really tasty and rich. The choice of dishes is also very large. The view of the mosel is beautiful, so it is very convenient to stay. We would eat there again anytime.

It's really delicious.

We were in Beilstein at the Mosel for 4 days to stroll a bit and let the soul roam in the wellness area. From booking to departure everything was fine. A great owner-managed hotel in the middle of the beautiful Beilstein district. We had a nice big room (double room comfort) with balcony and a nice view of the castle ruins. Just a few steps from the new wellness area with a large sauna, steam bath and various relaxation facilities our rooms were located greatly in the hotel. The early morning was rich and delicious, on request there was a delicious coffee from the family's soap machine, and also a nice view of the castle ruins. We were all ready to come to the coronation area with a large sauna, a steam bath and various relaxation facilities.

Recommendation: great wellness hotel on the Moselle

The hotel has an old part and a new plantation. We stayed in the old building for a few days. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is standard. On the small balcony you can look nicely over the place. On the roof of the new building there is a beautiful, large roof garden with good views over the cobblestone to the Moseltal and the Metternich Castle Ruins. The drinks are ready on a trusted basis. The breakfast buffet is not exhausting but definitely sufficient and is constantly refilled. Everything is there and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Also for tips for excursions or the neighbourhood to explore, there was good information from the youngsters of the hotel.

Located on a hill with a magnificent view

Everything super clean, rooms, environment, everything top, the only downside, internet very slow (but we're in Germany) super friendly staff, will always stay here when at the mosel

Club meeting oldtimer

A very nice hotel... rooms completely sufficient... very nice little balcony... we had a three-day arrangement... very delicious food... breakfast leaves no wishes open... in the room, however, a mobile and well-achievable mirror of makeup would not be a luxury.

It's a great short trip.

We spent a very nice weekend at the hotel. Our room under the roof was of good size, well equipped, and a modern bathroom - the view from the balcony to the castle and the place was also great. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. The central location and the parking lots next to the hotel were also ideal. It is also recommended that the Lipmann family offer a wine tasting in the cellar of the tenthouse. Only the technology (WLAN, TV) did not work quite so well, which did not really affect our stay. So clearly a further recommendation from us.

Nice, owner-managed hotel

The hotel and the restaurant are now run by the son-in-law and his wife, who are active in the service in the evening at the restaurant at the Mosel and in the morning at the hotel on the outskirts of the city at the breakfast buffet. We both experienced it as very friendly and pleasant. The hotel has been completely renovated, looks modern, is clean and fresh.
