We stayed in room 11 for one night. We selected this hotel because it had a great view - across the Cochem Castle. We were able to take great pictures of the Castle during day and night.

Checkin was easy and fast. Staff are super friendly. Room 11 needs two flight of stairs up, so might be difficult for elderly. Room itself has a comfy bed. The windows open up fully - very helpful on a very warm day.
A small parking lot was available next to the hotel. If it’s booked, there is paid parking spots nearby.

Breakfast was included in our rate and it had great variety such as eggs, ham, fresh bread, muffins, cheese, etc. each table was assigned to a room - which was great!

Walk to the old town was about 10-15 min. If you need more snacks and drinks, there is also an Aldi and Rewe about 5 min car ride/ 25 min walk. 

Would definitely recommend this hotel for the location and friendly staff!

Beautiful view of Cochem Castle

The hieronimi is a family-owned and traditionally run hotel. The building itself speaks of wine history. The ambiance is indescribable. It's not for nothing that this hotel has many regular guests who love to come over and over again. I felt very comfortable. Because the guest is welcome here. The hotel is not too big. And that's exactly what makes the charm of the wine hotel. Thank you very much for this beautiful impression. The restaurant with an outdoor dining area overlooking the mosel invites you to enjoy it. Very tasty, well-cooked civic cuisine. Of course, this includes a mosel wine from your own winery. It's worth it.

Perfect mosel location

On our first visit to Cochem, we got to know the restaurant's terrace as an idyllic retreat with great views, and the quality of the food and wines and the friendly and competent service (including excellent advice) led to several visits (with recommended reservations) where the first impression was very positive.

Out of the way.

The food was really delicious. There were four of us eating there and everyone was satisfied with the pre-dinner, main course and dessert. The service was also very friendly with us, but we were also there at lunchtime, there was very little running and the staff was very relaxed. We can only recommend going to a good meal.

Great food and friendly service.

Very engaged, very interesting and informative. The wines were individually selectable. The cellar master was very friendly and hospitable and was happy to answer all our questions about growing wine at the mosel. The glasses were always well filled 😊

Super wine tasting without an appointment

We were there yesterday on the recommendation of our landlord. During the Corona period, they probably had a very small card. A little too small for our taste, especially since it is not a seasonal card. Unfortunately, it was only possible to get a flat rate of 2,00 euros instead of chips, even though they were at other dishes. With the already small, non-spectacular card, we would have wanted a little more flexibility without a flat rate. Especially since the prices are not low. And the ambience was not ours, as there is no ambience. Because there are much better restaurants in Cochem.

A disgusting restaurant visit

booked a table on the terrace so that we could see cochem castle while we ate. truly gorgeous! ordered the potato pancakes with salmon. reminded me of the food at the christmas markets. great place to take the family and friends

amazing view and castle views

Beautiful terrace with beautiful views of the Moselle and the castle of Cochem. Very good wines in beautiful glasses. The menu is varied with products from the region. Our food was very tasty and well prepared. I gave only three points here, although the food deserved 5 and the service 0. the service (the chef) unfriendly, humorous and gives pathetic answers to questions.

Good food unfriendly service

We met with friends for dinner at the Hieronimi. The reservation went well. We got a nice table. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is really tasty. The homemade wines are highly recommended. We felt very comfortable.

Holidays at the Moselle

During our stay in Cochem, we visited the restaurant three times and were satisfied each time. Tasty food, good wines, cozy atmosphere overlooking mosel and castle and friendly staff. Despite arriving late (the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m.) we were still served a delicious, well-packed ham bread and we didn't have to go to bed hungry. That the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m. should perhaps be mentioned on the menu and the Cleanings on the terrace are done with less haste so that you don't feel left out.
