Despite the bad weather, the hosts Aurelia and Bernd gave us a wonderful and relaxing vacation, where hospitality is greatly appreciated and enjoyed. The accommodation, breakfast and evening treat offerings were simply wonderful. We will definitely be back. Claudia and Andreas from Duisburg.

A wonderful vacation

We were on an Eifel-Moseltour and this inn was the last stop. We had chosen it because of the description of the owner's upscale cooking. Unfortunately, our expectations could not be met. The map was neither regional nor seasonal. We lacked any creativity. Breakfast was ok, the room and bathroom were the smallest in our circle and also very spartan and dark. The owner's family was very friendly, but could not compensate for the shortcomings.

The kitchen couldn't live up to our expectations because of the description.

We stayed here for five nights and were very satisfied from the first to the last minute. The hosts are very friendly and friendly and help you with the tour planning. The rooms are small but clean and the furniture is good. The breakfast is of very good quality, the coffee is excellent. The dinner is also very tasty, although we found a track too expensive. Our motorcycle could be locked in the wine cellar for free, which was very positive. We would come back anytime. As if I wished for a small refrigerator in the room.

Nice little hotel with top service

I have stayed here two prior times over the past 12 years.  I had a very nice, large apartment and my friend had a nice room.  Everything seemed upgraded and nice.  We ate breakfast and dinner there  all days.  Herr Schneemann is a wonderful chef and the food was outstanding.  He paired the foodwith excellent local wines.  He and his daughter speak very good English, which made everything easy for us.  We were taking trains and he took us to the train station in Cochem this morning.  We will definitely be back in the next few years to enjoy everything again.  We highly recommend this place.

Another Excellent Three Nights

I very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel on a group motorcycle tour of the Mosel region. The owners are very accommodating and friendly and allowed us to safely and securely park our motorcycles in their wine cellar/garage area.

We booked breakfast and three course evening meal and the  food was excellent value for money and enjoyed by everyone.

Only slight down side perhaps was the fact it was not possible to make a cup of tea or coffee in the rooms which would have been nice during the daytime.

I would definitely recommend this lovely family hotel to visitors to the Mosel valley.

Part of a large goup of touring motorcycle enthusiasts.

Well we booked in for 6 nights here and toured around the mosel in the day on our Goldwing. What a find on the internet, Bernard and his wife who run the hotel are just the nicest of people and the food and rooms are all exellent. We were booked in bed and breakfast and we laso had a few nights eating in the resturant exellent. The food is lovely and the hosts who both speak english are just realy nice people. They made us so welcome and our stay there was just great. Being right in the middle of the Mosel is a bonus as you can travel out in the day and return to relax at night. Our room was quite large with a balcony and was at the rear side of the hotel it was very quiet and peaceful. Bernard let us park our motorcycle in the wine cellar under the hotel so that was a bonus for us as parking is very limited outside the hotel. We met some other people who had stayed there many times before and we now no why. Just a great place to stay and we met some nice people while staying there. We will book it again when we organize our next trip to the mosel area.

We went out to dinner with friends at the Snowman's again. Very good potato soup, a well-cooked and tasty cod. Only the side salad served in front of the main course was insignificant and there was also a lack of a good dressing for the salad.

We are looking for one night stay and find this property,
our room was on last floor, with view of church and mountain.

The guy and his wife was so friendly
the breakfast was small home made but enough and delicious
 Noted:
No car parking in front of property you have to park in main street with 70 meter walking up the street
no lift or elevator for top rooms 
price is a little more that it should be.

Family B&B

Bernard the owner is an excellent host the room was fantastic as was the food we had dinner in the hotel every night and every meal was perfection, guests from other hotels in the village came in night after night to eat. We are planning our visit there next year.

Motorcycle Club Holiday

Very nice hotel to recommend. The reception was excellent, the rooms are very spacious and the beds of very good quality. The restaurant is to be tested without hesitation, we enjoyed a great meal there in a very pleasant and beautifully decorated room. Besides all these villages along the Mosel are very nice to visit.
