We rated Cochem as a culinary bermuda dish BUT not this restaurant. It fits everything: food, service, interior, drinks. Recommendation! We were very satisfied and enthusiastic about the warm service. All dishes were delicious and prepared with love. The price ratio was top.

This is an absolute recommendation.

We stayed two nights at the Ley Hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The balcony invites us to view the moselle. Both nights we were dining in the hotel's own restaurant. If you don't want to eat just chips with potatoes, this is a good place to stay. In addition to classics like the Ley Burger, the chef also prepares exceptional creations that look for your peers in the area. Price-performance is right here!

The hotel is well maintained, the food is excellent.

I visited the hotel on its opening party in mid-August. To say the least: I was so happy about the experience. Clean rooms and very solid breakfast. Service is on another level, Roman made it such an amazing experience with his welcoming energy. There is a restaurant integrated in the hotel and kitchen chief Kai was surprising us day by day.
Overall, I'm more than happy with my stay. Safe to say that I'll come back when I'm going to visit the Mosel region again!

Great location, excellent service and culinary highlight

The hotel is very welcoming. The room was really very clean and newly equipped. The balcony, however, had to be renovated, and above all, cleaned better. This personally bothered me but less. The dinner was great. Very exceptional and sometimes something else. I would go back to eat here anytime! An absolute recommendation from me for this. The chef is really putting in a lot of effort and the service was also more than friendly! The hotel is very dog-friendly, which is very important to me. And the view is of course 1a!

We were spontaneously on the fourth in the early evening at the hotel's restaurant Ley. The food selection reminded us more of a better snack than a restaurant. The keelner🤔 strangely advised against ordering the desired flamecake, because it would take at least 45 minutes to prepare it. Crazy announcement from a service provider offering food!!!  Eventually everyone took the Ley burger. The burger came with some potato weddings, little sour cream and a little coleslow from the can, probably from a nearby supermarket. The burger only bore the same name because it presented itself as a slightly larger, by-council-appointed frog.  Eventually, everyone took the Ley burger. Tourist premises, restaurant with more money than being

We booked a balcony room trough booking.com and I emailed the hotel 2 times before arrival, never got any answer.

We arrived at 5 pm, and without any excuses they told me that there were no balcony rooms more available, so we got the last room available with the worst view possible. The room was old but clean. The bed is far to short if you are over 1.80 m tall. About the wrong room, We didn’t made any trouble about it, but it was nice to get a excuse, or a free bevarage or breakfast for the compensation. Clearly lack of customer service.

We paid breakfast on site for 12,— per person and in my opinion the price is to high for a few breads, a few meats and filtercoffee.

Booked room not available and no excuses made

Beautiful sunny day by the Mosel with my wife and it is lunch time and we took the bad decision to stop and eat at this place, and I ordered a pork steak with fries and mushrooms sauce and side salad ... it was one of the worst meal of my life... I am a Cheff and I know what I am talking about.
Where do I begin? 
The Waiter, I asked him 3 easy questions and he didn’t know, how many grams is the cut, time of preparation and if the fish my wife ordered had any bread crust, he couldn’t answer and didn’t ask the kitchen.
I ordered my drink with ice ... as my drink arrived no ice .. he says sorry and bring something like the crust when your freezer is over iced, at this point I am a bit concerned about my food..
And my food arrives at my table, plate diameter 24 cm I guess, fries to small and bad seasoning, the mushrooms where canned and the sauce was from the bag, I can tell because I am a Cheff, the meat was a stone ... it was so dry I couldn’t finish it  it looked like a child portion and it was14 euros it was very bad ...such a beautiful place by the river and so bad lunch experience later on I had dessert somewhere else and I told the cafe owner about my bad experience and some Lokals next to me told me basically the same that it is the worst place to eat ... 
so future visitors with 14 euros get something at the supermarket and seat by the river, it will be 100 better.

Bad 

One of the only restaurants open this season. Choice in the menus. With all the dishes, an entrance buffet is included. The map indicates the special diets. The service is fast. Beautiful view of the Moselle.

Dinner with the family

Nice clean hotel. Class of the elevator. Rooms and bathroom in good condition. Clean. Breakfast rich. Dinner large portions, very tasty. The hotel is on the main street. It was quiet.

Trip to the moss

We stopped off here for one night. The rain sheeted down incessantly as we parked immediately opposite the hotel right on the river bank but the moment we steeped into this excellent, unpretentious hotel/restaurant/bar we felt at ease and comfortable. The bedroom was bright, slightly old fashioned, but none the worse for that - everything was spotlessly clean and functioned well and the room had a geranium smothered balcony (which obviously we didn't use!). We ate an excellent meal, all home cooked, with local wine of course. Service was attentive, quite large tables which weren't too close together. The place was almost full on a Tuesday night so it must get the local vote. There's an outdoor vine-covered terrace for better weather eating and drinking.  Breakfast couldn't have offered a wider choice. It must be really lovely in sunny weather, sitting on the balcony or the terrace as the river flows gently by and the vineyards on the opposite bank promise future pleasure.
