During our short trip to Cochem, we enjoyed the chapeau claque. First of all, the kindness of the guests was mentioned. We felt welcome from the first moment. Despite Corona and the breakfast buffet that was not allowed, the breakfast served at the table was excellent and sufficient. Already the night before, a list of what you would like was asked. Very commendable, because this way you save a lot of junk. Those who still couldn't get enough of this could reorder at any time. The rooms are clean and seemingly freshly renovated. Should we send it to the mailroom again, we'd be happy to come back.

Not to be confused

A small boarding house with few rooms, but it's super clean and all the rooms have been renovated, a very good and extensive breakfast, a very nice and always helpful operator couple where you take care of the boarding guests and he takes care of the little bistro downstairs.

Small but fine

The guesthouse is over a nice cheap bar, where you get the keys, the wooden staircase is quite loud, it shows you everything, the rooms are very simple but clean, the breakfast was very small but everything was there, what do you want more, right across the street is a parking lot for eight euros a day, the guesthouse is a bit old but okay, two minutes to the city if at all.

On the edge of the old centre of Cochem is a small bar in the chapel-claque, where one man drinks a glass of wine and drinks a few drinks a few good prices. Gastvrij en hartelijke ontvangst / good location and friendly reception

It's a very simple accommodation. It's a maximum of 1 star. The carpet floor is at least 50 years old, and the poor furniture is also. The house is right next to a railway line (very loud) and opposite a parking lot that is fully lit all night long. This makes the room very bright. If you're looking for the level of a hostel, you're right here, if you're expecting some comfort, book somewhere else.

At first glance, it doesn't seem like a very nice place, it's actually less ugly than it looks. The room was big enough and clean enough. The bathroom was quiet, read well. Even though the room when we arrived was cold, the thermophones handheld open did their job quickly. Even though we had the room on the second floor that looked down the street it was quite soundproofed. The breakfast I would say is the best memory I have of the place (where we actually stayed only 1 night), good and, prepared in a nice room with a parking lot. There is no real reception, you enter the bar.

Better than you think

We spent a week in the boarding house. It's small, but very nice people for it and very early. We felt at home. Everybody was always friendly and helpful. All the tips were excellent. Breakfast leaves almost no questions open and is very much if you ask. The owners are always reachable and through the nearby bistro.

Nice family business and cheap

We stayed here because it was the only free place we could find in the city.The location is central, next to an old disco that was fortunately closed for our rest (the room was paved with the same...).An old but clean bathroom, as well as the room in general.The friendlyness of the owners and the breakfast was better.But the price was too high for a pension.The inability to pay by card today also surprised me...

Got laughed out of a sky pub that was playing football. Walked for hours. Was actually going next door for food but saw the rugby and stayed. Clientele are not interested in the rugby so seemed amused at my excitement then returned to their schnapps. It's quite touristy here but I didn't get that vibe here. Felt like a wandered into a local. But not intimidating. Just nice. And rugby. Mmmmm
