The St. George's is a family-run hotel right next to the Moselle. The rooms are clean and functionally furnished. The bathroom is very modern. For breakfast there is a very rich (bombastic) buffet. Here no desire remains open. Anyone can eat in the evening in the restaurant that belongs to it. The food is fresh, prepared with attention to detail and delicious. No more than 20 minutes and the food is on the table. And here too, individual wishes are made possible. It's easy and we will definitely come back.

It's a great hotel.

I can't understand the bad reviews. We had a very nice room with a balcony and a view of the mosque. The bedroom was renovated and modern with a very comfortable box spring bed. The bathroom is still from the 1970s but everything was very clean. We were welcomed and served kindly and the breakfast was really great!

We felt very well.

We were just guests in the hotel's restaurant. Loved the food, the wine, the nice terrace and the friendly waiter. Their salads are amazing, great taste! They call it 'verrückte Salat' and they are in fact huge! Loved it.o

Crazy good salad & atmosphere

Just a quick pop in for a bit to eat to keep us going.  The waiter was really good and friendly, recommended the ice cream sundae which was beautiful and refreshing with fresh strawberries, lots of ice cream, strawberry sauce and cream.  The coffee was also good and the iced drink was well iced and very refreshing.

We got a room with virtually no windows. A 60s aluminum window (white lime between the discs) allowed a view of a 3m away wall of the backyard. Much worse, in case of fire, the window cannot be directed by the fire department, as the backyard is not navigable. There is no other 2nd escape route. So just a jump from the 2nd OG. We didn't understand that the room was allowed to be rented out.

No one can escape when it's burning!!

The pictures on the Internet are very misleading. We got dark back rooms with outdated furniture that was more than worn and broken. The rooms were cold and you couldn't see out through the windows, so they were running from the inside. The toilet glasses are old and the wallpaper was hanging over the bed broken by the wall. WiFi didn't work at all. We didn't stay and looked right around to another hotel. However, if you want to book a crime thriller/grusel cabinet, you should be there.

Not recommended

This hotel will not be booked.We will have a balcony.Neither the window nor the balcony can be tipped off.The balcony slide is almost blind to water stains.The bathroom is 70s-style.The side entrance is open all day and people can enter the hotel uncontrollably.At 8pm on the terrace order drinks.Answer:but we close at 9pm.And that on Saturday night.Personal not so friendly,WLANs are almost non-functional,Great parking problems.There are also positives: Breakfast is a priority.

Not good.

We just stayed at this hotel for two nights with my friends for a sports competition and it's true that the decor is old but everything was very clean. They started renovating the rooms. The breakfast was great and the host was very warm. I think we'll come back next year for the competition at this hotel.

Two nights at the St. Georg Hotel

Except for the very good breakfast, there's nothing to recommend in and around this hotel. Mother smoke all over the house, the entire facility - bathrooms and rooms - is totally worn out and outdated.
