The guesthouse of Mrs. Heib offers everything you can expect. The rooms are nicely furnished and equipped with everything necessary. The breakfast is offered as an extensive buffet, there is chicken, boiled eggs, bread, cheese, sausage, cereal, juices and much more. Information about the surroundings is abundant and the hostess is also very happy to provide information. Especially beautiful is the location near the mosel with great views of the Reichsburg Cochem.

Great guest house in a nice location

The boarding house is clean and affordable, and if the boarding house is fully occupied, the hostess will switch to her private area for breakfast, about a 15-minute walk from the centre of Cochems.

Very good address.

Lovely-guided boarding house with large modern rooms, free parking, Wi-Fi, great, rich breakfast. What more can I write? Can we recommend without reservation. When dinner is over, go to TripAdvisor first, Cochem is very grown up when it comes to restaurants.

Direct view of Mosel and Castle

We stayed here for 5 days in the summer and were absolutely enthusiastic. On the first day we were greeted by the very friendly hostess and received the room keys as well as numerous tips on what to do in and around Cochem and so on. The room with its own bathroom was purposefully furnished with everything you need and beyond that very clean. Particularly highlighted are the very tasty and rich breakfast buffet and the kitchen sink always filled with small snacks, drinks and good regional wines where you can use them at any time. Prices for snacks and drinks are absolutely added and the bill is added. Furthermore, the guesthouse has some parks, a perfect accommodation for two gardeners and a perfectly pleasant view of the city, and we are very happy to relax here with a nice view of the small mosque and palace.

That's great!

Stayed here one night in may with a friend. We were soaking wet from driving in the rain so this was a great welcome. The room is big, has a great shower and a big, comfy bed. There is no fridge or airco but that wasn't needed at all. Our 2 bikes could easily fit in the private garage and the view from our room was amazing! 

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with a save spot for your bike within a 10 min walking distance from downtown Cochem, this is where you should go!

Nice room, great breakfast and save parking for motorcycles

Pros:
Nice sized queen (w/split in matresses), black out blinds, nice view of the castle across the river, far enough to be quiet, close enough to be convenient, nice typical German breakfast included, good price, parking is convenient and included

Cons:
The "private" bath is actually shared w/the other room.  The room has only a washbasin. Stairs to upper levels are steep and could be tough for those with limited mobility 

Nice place, good price

I chose this guesthouse after a thorough search on the Internet. I can only warmly recommend Mrs. Heib's guesthouse. It is very quietly located on the other side of the mosque of Cochem in Cochem-Cond and I had a great view of both the mosque and the Reichsburg Cochem from my room number four. The guesthouse is super clean, cheap and very tastefully furnished and the breakfast area is redecorated in different colors every three days. The breakfast buffet leaves no wishes. There are buns, croissant, different kinds of bread, buns, different kinds of sausage, cheese, wheat, queso, eggs, and much more.

Very tastefully decorated boarding house, great boarding house.

This small pension hotel, with about 10 or 12 rooms is near the old town hustle and bustle, but across the river in a quiet neighborhood.  About a 15 minute walk to the major shopping areas, restaurants and other sight-seeing.  Wonderful view of the castle and river from the front upper rooms.  We stayed in Room #5 and had excellent views.  Nice long walking paths along the river found right in front of the hotel.  Free parking, good breakfast and very friendly, English-speaking landlady.  Highly recommended for your adventure to Cochem!

Clean, Quiet & Great Location

This is a great place to stay in Cochem.  Central location on busy tourist street.  Request a view of the river area and you can look out the window over the street to the river.  HOWEVER, there is a little street noise from below.  Breakfast is served in a sun filled dining area and provides a good start to the day.

Gastehaus Ohlberger-Heib

This wonderful guesthouse is perfect for a stay in Cochem. Monika is so nice and helpful. She is a wonderful cook  too. We stayed here three nights and loved the view of the castle as its lite up at night. The rooms were large with a nice view of the river. Since the guesthouse is across the bridge, it was very quiet and peaceful. Its only a 10-15 minute walk to town. I would highly recommend this guesthouse
