The prices are OK. 13.80 for a neck steak or 4 euros for a soup. Food is decent. The houses cost 3.8 euros. The staff is very nice and quite fluid. Ambience fits the place. A successful evening. Make sure you try the winemaking dream!

Delicious German food

We didn't stay overnight here. We only ate dinner at the restaurant. The menu is manageable and offers great homemade food. But each dish tasted great. The special thing is simply the ambience of the family-run business and the excellent wine of our own. The recommendations of the junior chef were perfect. The vineyard peach liqueur was also great.

The restaurant's great.

My wife and i have used this establiment for some years now. Thier food is home cooked with a very good menu.  Thier wine is home grown with an excellent range. You are made to feel very welcome by the family and staff. It is warm and cosy inside with  an out side  dinning area also  this  overlooks  the Mosel. There is also a good free Wi Fi  link inside.  There is also plenty of parking in the area.

Ist class  wine food & service

Service was incredible, food was good, and the appel pie is absolutely dreamy! We were a group of 10, and had a great time. Steak was very good too. And everything was clean and tidy. The view doesn't hurt either :) 

Excellent!

Went here with some friends who live nearby and absolutely loved it.  Friendly little family run spot tucked away up a little side street off the river and they make their own wine!  If you make it here during harvest season make sure to ask for some "fresh" wine.  As far as food, the spätzle and steak were well done but I doubt anything on the menu is bad.  

Amazing family run gem

We stayed two nights at this very nice guesthouse. The staff is very friendly and professional, and our room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and newly renovated. Wifi connection is free and excellent. Breakfast is served downstairs in the restaurant at 7.50 Euros, and it is a good German-style breakfast. The restaurant is open in the evenings and also offers wines from the vineyard of the proprietor. Anybody who stays in an accommodation close to the Moselle shore will have to be prepared for some traffic noise, as the road goes along the shore past the houses, and this is the same for larger hotels or smaller pensions- no exceptions! This is true for any small town on the river. It is quieter during the night, but traffic starts early. For those sensitive to traffic noise, bring ear plugs!

Very good guesthouse( pension garni) with lovely views over the Moselle

The hotel is very warm as it is served by its owners, who also speak English. We were welcomed without any problems later than planned and with a good beer!! and coffee for some. The breakfast is very good, has natural juices. The location is excellent, facing the river. Don't miss the opportunity to book a room overlooking the river.

An excellent and economical option for travelers.

Sometimes when you just walk one block off of "Main Street" you find some marvelous places.  

We did not stay at the B&B, but simply stopped in for a quick lunch while on a day trip visit to Beilstein. What a find! Four of us had a delicious lunch with wine for 27euro and it was delightful. The young owner and her husband were both fun to talk with and the atmosphere was terrific! We even got to see their children come home from school!

You won't be disappointed with the food nor the friendly owners. Don't miss the chance to eat authentic German food here!

Lunch was amazing!

It's an excellent family-run restaurant with guest rooms and a winery. The staff is very friendly, the food is very good, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Despite a lot of pressure, there was always time for a personal word.

This is a fantastic restaurant.

Since almost all restaurants in Bruttig have a rest day on Wednesdays, we came back here for dinner. Unfortunately, the kitchen was already open 10 minutes before 9:00, but we were offered a steak from the grill or flame cake. For the price, the steak shouldn't have come from the fridge, but it was well grilled for that. Flame cake and wine were excellent. Then if you can handle the slightly rough charm of the service, you can eat well here.
