Hotel and café do not match the ambience of the house. Puppet shops are more suitable for romanticists. Even the breakfast room has a museum atmosphere with its coffee grinder collection! The rooms and bathrooms are currently of new quality and have a good pre-purchase ratio for almost 100 euros.

Puppet shops with a family atmosphere

This is the second time me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel and we absolutely love it!  It maintains old world charm with new world beds. The owners are friendly and the location is close to many restaurants and places to try the local wines. The breakfast is fresh and there are many things to choose from. They will even cook a fresh egg for you. We stayed in room 11 back in June and loved the quirky low ceiling and the view from the tiny balcony. Room 1 is nice because it’s big and close to the terrace where you can cap your evening off with some more local wine. We hope to go back soon!

It was wonderful!

A table on the outdoor terrace is heavenly beautiful, but very hard to find. Super great service accompanies you. The cake selection is huge. Since there is no traffic jam, you can enjoy everything.

Go in and get in the flow

We are repeaters in Klapperburg, at Family Götz. On May 18th, we were with the first guests who could come and enjoy the Corona outbreak. We were very warmly received by Mrs. Götz. The room was just great, quiet and cozy. The breakfast was brought to the table and did not reveal any wishes. The entire gastronomy is just fantastic. The cake and the selection, as well as the loving care, are unique. We come back of course......:-)

It's just a lot of fun.

We were recommended for this coffee, and we were able to grab a small table on the terrace, which we liked very much. The service was welcoming and friendly, and the offer of cakes and other delicacies was great!

The hotel's location is ideally at the entrance to the small, picturesque Beilstein, the center of which is car-free. Free, free parking spaces are located about 200-300 metres on Moseluferstraße. The workshops are stylish in their original look and very old from the 17th century. The castle Metternich on the mountain is around 900 years old. The rooms in the Klapperburg are lovingly decorated. The company is a family business. From the confectionery, through the gastronomy, through the hotel to the souvenir shop with t-shirts even in English and Dutch - everything is operated by family members. We were allowed to travel a day earlier because the online drinks were offered, but we had to go back to the store differently.

The first post-corona holiday a complete success

The Hotel Klapperburg is a real peaceful place. We felt very well. Mrs. Götz is super sweet and attentive. The room is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. A very comfortable bed and a TV set in front of the bed and not too small, round the room. Breakfast leaves no wishes open.....the hotel guests eat it in a lovingly decorated room that has a wonderful appearance and was decorated with a lot of love. We fell in love with Beilstein and come back to take small outings. And of course to the Klapperburg....... with their little sweet cafe....:-)

Wonderful, loving, relaxing, dreaming and all.

The place Beilstein was previously unknown to me and is still the sweetest place on the Moselradweg, which is not even true in the cycling guide. We stayed in the Klapperburg: bright clean rooms, the whole hotel is lovingly decorated, apart from the many coffee mills there are many other sweet old furnishings. The breakfast was excellent, the breakfast was freshly prepared. Several small terraces, like the whole place and the cups decorated with flowers/wine, the bicycles were parked in a storage room on the edge of the small cups.

Cycling holiday in Mosel

On the Mosel bike tour we made an intermediate stop in the Klapperburg. The wheels were safely stored in the nearby bicycle shed. The rooms were very clean and very quiet, the staff very hospitable. The ambience in the breakfast room - virtually in the coffee mill collection - is very nice. The breakfast was very rich. In addition, rye or mirror leaf was offered. Well restored and freshly fortified, we made our way to the next stage after breakfast. In conclusion: highly recommended.

Cyclists can regenerate themselves best

We're excited and happy to come back, and the rooms are new, really cozy, and with sweet balconies, and the delicious, lavish breakfast leaves no wishes, even for me as a vegan.
