I was only there one night and I was satisfied. The entire staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. I had a single room, it was clean and convenient. The breakfast was very delicious. I will definitely come back. The negative reviews that I have seen in part, I can't even comprehend. Thank you very much for the lovely stay of dear Adolph's team.

Short trip

Positive: free parking, direct subway access, breakfast cafeteria - breakfast rich and included in the price, nice staff negative: if you want egg or juice for breakfast, you have to ask for it, it's not offered, no hygiene bags in the bathroom, no refrigerator in the room, toilet dirty or old?, shower cold, low water pressure, overall it could be cleaner. Mattresses could even be made new.

Clean is different

We're in Cologne for a family party for two days.The Adolphs is a nice little hotel with its own bakery.The breakfast buffet for 10€ is really worth it.

Good, affordable and clean housing

I wouldn't call the house a hotel yet, but you can stay here very well. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning, but no one in the category can expect that. For this, there is a fan on the room and it makes the heat a little more tolerable. Unfortunately, the restaurant that used to belong to it has closed, so you have to eat outside.

The guesthouse is recommended

I had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Adolphs Gasthaus and enjoy the experience immensely: comfortable and clean room; friendly and efficient service; excellent breakfast. It is very close to the metro station so you can be in the city centre in just 20 minutes.

A comfortable and pleasant stay in Cologne.

It's a small family hotel with a first-class restaurant, a quiet location and a large free car park right in front of the hotel, with a direct train connection just one minute to the station, you can easily drive into the city to experience something.

Class Hotel highly recommended

Very good restaurant with friendly, attentive service. The restaurant serves seasonal dishes that are well spiced and taste great, while the dish still looks very appetizing. All the friends and family members who have eaten there with us will want to eat here again the next time they visit. Again a good choice.

The Best of Cologne North

This hotel is easy to reach by S-bahn or with a car. The rooms are comfortable (but clarify a nonsmoking room as one of our 2 rooms had a hint of smoke), and the dinner at restaurant and breakfast were outstanding. This place is a great value.

Great location outside of the city

Very warm accommodation, comfortable and clean rooms, generous and excellent breakfasts, divine cuisine, train stop just across the street which allows quick and easy access to the city centre, free parking, quiet area despite the presence of the train: this hotel is ideal for a successful stay in Cologne. We look forward to returning...

It's an address to remember.

I arrived via taxi late on a Saturday night at Adolph's, glad to see the warmly lit  restaurant was still open.  I was welcomed by chef, owner, proprietor, baker all in one - an amazing young man.  My single room was small but immaculate and equipped with everything I needed.  In the morning I awoke to the intoxicating smells of baking and the sounds of families enjoying breakfast on the terrace.  Breakfast is heavenly --- a rich assortment of breads, baked goods, fruit, sliced meat, cheeses - and fresh squeezed orange juice is brought to your table, as well as eggs any style.  As I was leaving, I realized that a convenient tramline was just outside the parking area for the hotel, so I was able to get back to the Cologne train station, with one change of tram, for less than 2 Euros as opposed to the 20 Euro taxi ride the night before.  This place might work best for families and people with cars, as it's some distance from the walkable tourist area of "downtown" Cologne. And I believe it's free parking.
