We had our camper for various jobs at the company AL-KO in Kötz and offered to spend one night at the nearby Hotel Garni at Heike, because the montage workers could start work early in the morning and we slept and enjoyed a good breakfast.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Lefoland. The location is totally quiet. The hotel is a few rooms, perfect for family and couples. The breakfast is plentiful and international. Heike, the owner is kind, generous and can make you feel at home. My son was excited about the place and spent time with Heike.

That's wonderful!

Very good location! LEGOLAND can be reached on foot in 10 minutes! The busy road nearby is a little disturbing with the windows open! Breakfast very good and sufficient. Owner very convenient!

It's great.

A cosy B&B for a family of 4. They had bunk beds for the children and 15mins walking distance to Legoland Themepark. We went during April so it was not too warm and having the window slightly open was bearable, not too sure during peak summer though. 
All in all we had a good stay. Thank you.

Cosy with basic needs. 

Very busy road beside hotel noise all night.  Rooms small and v hot. Open window noise from trucks all night.  No air.  Bad smell from adjoining farm. Breakfast not worth the money.  Absolutely avoid. Much nicer quieter places in Grunsburg.

One to avoid

We appreciated all about this Garni. Very nearby legoland, comfortable room, the lady (I think miss Heike) whom checked-in very kind!! Maybe more choose in breakfast (something more like cake or muffins etc) could be appreciated. Thx for all! Cristina

Very good garni

This hotel is in the middle of a very quiet and beautiful farmland.  It is only 15 minutes or less of a walk from legoland and only a five minute or so drive to historical Gunzburg, which I also recommend visiting.  The hostess was extremely kind, helpful, and spoke perfect English. She was exceptionally accommodating, offering us a room with a double bed on our second night, even though we only booked a twin room, due to it being full.  She also had buy one get one free passes for legoland which she gave to us, saving us a lot of money.  The breakfast is a bit pricy but the coffee was fantastic and I greatly approved of the food.  She even recommended a nice restaurant in town, which turned out delicious. 

Overall, she made the terrifying experience of our first German Hotel stay into a phenomenal one I won't soon forget. 

Trip to Legoland and Gunzburg

The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable with pleasant staff.

We had stay two nights, we enjoyed also the breakfast. In the room they cleaned up and opened the window for fresh air.

The hotel is very close to park, the location is a quiet place and from the main road you have signals to the hotel.

 

Trip to Legoland 

A reasonably priced hotel within walking distance to Legoland. Excellent breakfast. Large clean rooms. Only downside, there is nothing to do evenings except to drive to Gunzburg for dinner. There is a cold drink machine in the entrance.

Close to Legoland

In the middle of the Bavarian countryside, among the typical villages of the area, is LEGOLAND, a theme park a dream of every child (and of every former child!!!). The Garni Heike is the ideal place to stay with the children one or two nights for a visit to the Park. It is only 600/800 meters from Legoland, to which you can walk for a beautiful pedestrian / cycling track.
