This B&B is the perfect place to stay as it fits the town's quaint, quiet, clean and pretty atmosphere. It's only a 5 minute walk from the train station and two minutes from the river. The owners were really friendly and helpful, with perfect English. My single room was on the small side but it was clean, tidy and quiet. Breakfast was a good selection of bread, cheese, meats, fruit and yoghurt and could be taken outside in the square in the sunshine. Really good value for money!

Very exquisite and intimate. The rooms are very beautiful decorated, the bathrooms very clean. You have all the comfort that you need for the time that you will spend in that beautiful piece of heaven!

as this is a small hotel, make sure to inform the hotel of your arrival and check out time as there is no one manning the counter. 
ask for ground floor room and get a taxi from train station if you have luggages on wheels. 

Value for money

We really loved our one day stay here. The rooms are very cute, clean and bright, with a German rustic style. Very good breakfast. This is the perfect location, close to the Rhein, and in the very heart of the restaurant and shop district. Not a problem with sound, since its a quiet town without many cars.On that topic we want to warn that finding a parking spot to stay overnight was hard. We heard that the Kleine Villa should have parking, but we never found it. The Kleine Villa is operated by the nice Greeks who run the Greek restaurant nearby. They were really fun and let us sit with them and drink wine after closing hours. Good people.

Cute rooms in a cute B&B

This tiny hotel/B&B is down a cobbled street in Eltville, one of the most picturesque villages I have ever seen in Germany.  I was lucky enough to visit during gorgeous weather when the pink blossom was at its peak and I can't imagine many places looking more pretty. 

The whole hotel had an abundance of character with lots of little details in keeping with its namesake rose.  I believe each of the rooms are unique and a great deal of care and attention has obviously gone into furnishing and decorating this hotel.  Looking at the hotel website, I have to say that my room did not bare much resemblance to the pictures as it was quite small.  However, I'm sure that if you get one of the larger rooms, you will particularly appreciate the charm of this hotel. 

The reception was not manned so I had a code to access my room key from a secure box.  Steep stairs lead to my small room.  I only had a single bed which I never like at the best of times and whilst it was comfortable enough, I'm sure the duvet cover was man made which I didn't like.  I always travel with my own pillow and was glad I had as the pillows were huge.  The room was furnished in antiques (or at least looked like antiques) apart from the flat screen TV.  I was pleasantly surprised by the modern bathroom.  Whilst it was not big, it was functional and had a good shower.  The  room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean.  Breakfast was served in a very small room prettily decorated for Easter.  A platter of meats, cheese, breads, jam and eggs were very good along with fruit juice and coffee.  Not a massive choice but very nice. 

I would probably look for somewhere else to stay if I returned simply because I didn't sleep well.  I would still recommend it for a short trip if you can sleep anywhere!
