Positive:
- family run hotel(?) -> very friendly people  
-  good restaurant -> quite expensive though
- very good breakfast. 
- large rooms, clean AND with a sofa. 
- nice area 
- parking space across the street
- free bottle of water 

Negative: 
- Limited english , so you better speak German (or understand German) 
- the restaurant (bar) is open until late and was very loud (with singing / drunk people) which wake you up at night. Especially when they play the piano in the hall way. 
- no coffee / tea in the room

Good place to spend a night (moto cycle)

Very delicious food, good regional cuisine, everything looks and tastes good. Prices are in order. Everything is very clean and well-groomed. The portions were large. Parking is available, own butcher shop and hotel makes a very good impression again!

It's a place like you'd expect in the Black Forest. It serves honest homemade food and you're also fed up with the portions. Unfortunately, my meatloaf was a bit tough. My wife's butcher's pan was excellent for that. The salad is obviously too acidic. All in all, it's another place I'd go to again. The service is very friendly and takes care of the guest.

As we were not satisfied with the meals and the reception at the Endehof restaurant, we went to this hotel where we were very kindly welcomed good meals at the right price, the possibility of requesting half a serving for normal hunger!!!

Very well

We had a very nice evening here in a cozy Metsgerustroom in a private atmosphere. We were provided with everything by very friendly hosts and their staff. Both food and drinks were of the finest quality. I myself had a frame slice with delicious sauce, spatula and salad and a desert apple fridge with vanilla sauce and fruit. As you can see in the pictures. Happy Birthday Dinner

We were in the Black Forest on vacation from Monday to Friday, and we decided to go to the inn to protect ourselves. This was for good reason, because we had already been at this hotel once in 1986. And we were not disappointed. Understandably, in the 33 years, a lot has been invested in the inn. But most of all, the hospitality and warmth of the Spath family and their staff has remained very friendly. We were very welcomed and the registration went smoothly and quickly. The explanations were very informative and helpful, and we need nothing. The rooms are very spacious and the whole inn is very barrier-free. The restaurant's meals are very fresh and all the meals come from the doghouse's meals. The meals are also very easy to make, and the menu is also very convenient, but we also enjoy the high quality of the food, which is not just the food, but the food, which is also delicious, but also the food and vegetables. Just feel good and enjoy yourself

We ended up in the shelter by chance, as this Monday had no rest day, and we really didn't regret it! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The portions were large and the prices comparatively small. What more does the guest want?
