I've booked a room here for a professional stay recommendation and the recommendation speaks for itself super spacious, always clean & tidy & beautifully modernly decorated. The beds are comfortable & I've spent my nights here very well. The restaurant is rustically decorated but the food is absolutely perfect. I ordered the calf-cordon blue with vegetables and potatoes. The meat is pretty juicy, the panade is pleasantly cross. The vegetables are perfectly cooked and taste great. The potatoes were bright, cross and far from greasy. Everyone in everything the food and stay was perfectly clear recommendation 👍🏻

Very nice hotel room paired with perfect food

The Hotel-Restaurant Koelbl is the perfect place to stay when in the Rhineland Phalz area.  The rooms are spacious, modern, clean, well appointed, and comfortable.  The location is ideal being in a small village but next to a train station and close to the autobahn.  The staff is extremely professional, polite, well informed, and friendly.  Breakfasts are well rounded with both hot and cold entrees, juices and coffee.  Dinners at the restaurant are very tasty, well prepared and professionally presented.  An all around great place to stay.

Consistently Perfect

Our children had invited us to a weekend, and we were able to get to know the Hotel + Restaurant Kölbl. We were surprised by the warm hospitality, the excellent dining and the modern rooms, so we immediately booked our Golden Wedding there. Although we don't know yet if all this can happen because of Corona, we will definitely want to spend another weekend or more there. The cozy atmosphere has inspired us and the service and the food have impressed us.

What a surprise.

Family celebration / Celebration room well arranged / Service throughout the evening fast and very friendly / Pre-orders of various kinds were highly praised by the guests / Main dishes were in quantity well designed and tastefully excellent / whether fish or meat / well arranged, tastefully excellent. The dessert rounded the meal very effectively. I can also rate the wine as tastefully well suited. As a conclusion I can say appreciatively: a successful firm in a very good restaurant!

A pleasant stay

Located in the center of Enkenbach, the restaurant has a traditional, lightning-clean design. Friendly and professional service. On the menu you can find a nice selection of interesting dishes. The food itself is very, very good.

Excellent cuisine

On Valentine's Day, we had a very happy evening at Enkenbach Restaurant Kölbl with friends (a long drive for us). When we got there, we were surprised that I was speechless for the first time. Then we were assigned a table with the same mimicry and we received the food card. Our first question was, since the card had changed, there was the Valentine's menu. The answer was yes, but we all had to eat this menu, for a single person at the table it would not be there. I was speechless and immodestly amazed and asked why?

A Terrible Experience

We had reserved a table for Valentine's Day with another couple, and we were looking forward to a pleasant and harmonious evening. It was changing. Since one of us wanted to reserve only because of the Valentine's menu at the Kölbl restaurant, but unfortunately hadn't spoken to him about the Austrian menu, we spoke to the employee again about whether it would be possible for him to get the menu anyway, since he didn't want to order anything else from the menu. He said that the menu didn't, turned around and let us sit. Until then we were the only guests and didn't understand the inflexible reaction at all. We decided to leave the restaurant. We decided to leave the kitchen once more. We decided to order this restaurant immediately and then we were uncomfortable, and so often we left the restaurant unattended and unwillingly, and so we decided to leave the kitchen and then we went to our restaurant.

Absolutely no go

Two nights in December 2019 there. Also earlier. Quality in hotel and restaurant unique. I always come back here with expectations. A home feeling when entering. Enchanted by the very competent and friendly service (Mrs. Kölbl and long-time staff). The quality of the food is perfect. Occasionally to Austrian weeks. Very well suited for family meetings (groups). The opportunity to stay in the hotel. Even as a solo traveler I always feel welcome and well taken care of. Very busy. In the summer terrace. Here everything fits easily. I will always visit this small lodge. I will also eat by car (parking places nearby). Ohne. Train station near Kaiserslaut.

Feel at home

The bedrooms are completely renovated, very clean and modern bathroom. The bed is impeccable, we spent two nights quietly. A continental buffet breakfast at the top! We enjoyed ourselves. If we get a chance to visit the area again, we'll stop there again.

I was there with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the food was very well cooked with love. Service extremely friendly and super attentive, as I'm used to it except from the US. We'll definitely be eating at the Kölbl restaurant again, highly recommended.
