Although it was a Corona conditioned failure, I was not contacted by any kind of complaint (a silent human response). There was no telephone availability (more than 15 calls during business hours) and the email was only contacted after we sent a registered letter with the cancellation.

In spite of the coronavirus outbreak, cancellation fees - and several days of feedback - are still available by phone.

We stayed there for two nights in a holiday home. The night entrance/gate had broken out in the castle and the entrance door was slammed. In some rooms the heating was so loud overnight that it was impossible to sleep. The next day this was reported to the staff in the morning and it was promised to take care of what was only successful on telephone inquiries in the afternoon by providing another room. Finally, two TVs were not working, seating racks were broken, mold in the showers and some curtains... would have been nice too... more open windows you could not sleep in the immediate vicinity.

It must have been better.

I was very impressed with this hostel. The rooms were clean and modernly furnished. The breakfast offer was very rich. The staff was also very friendly, hospitable and very helpful. The location is very central, so the city centre can be easily reached on foot. I would love to come back. Thank you very much!

This is a great hostel.

I stayed here with a group of 19 Americans.  The hostel was clean.  The kitchen was excellent. The cafe within the hostel served amazing cakes and a solid breakfast.   And the owner was incredibly nice.  She was such a contrast to my experience at the Opera Hostel the previous year.  Also, while re4hostel is a little bit of a walk from the train station it's still fairly close to the city center and the walk from the station is through a nice park. Highly recommend.

Super helpful staff and great kitchen

The location is quite good (directly on the train but with noise protection and in the park) but the holiday apartment we had occupied for eleven was 370 euros a night - of which 90 euros for towels and bedding... that's too much for the large but bare rooms without living room. The beds are old folding sofas with some stains. Space is plenty. There are also televisions. All this is not comfortable. Breakfast for 6.50 euros per adult is expensive for some jam, coffee from the press and supermarket cheeses and salami as well as cereal and bread.

Nice location but the apartment is extremely expensive

The re4hostel is conveniently located to the railway station (10 minutes' walk) and similarly far from the city centre, the cathedral, etc. But a quiet location, and if you want to combine your stay with a walk: a long green area is right in front of the front door. We felt very comfortable in the hostel: well-organized operation, very friendly and professionally staffed. Our room was top-notch, the price ratio is right. The kitchen is convenient and very well equipped with breakfast area.

...the stay was great.A very lovingly decorated hostel with very nice staff.The rooms and sanitary facilities were very clean.Especially beautiful is the adjacent café Pushkin with a great delicious breakfast offer.We would like to recommend this further.

All around cheerfully...

nice hostel, simple and cozy and very clean, i liked the breakfast and staff is very supportive when needed. the location is close to any place and its some 5 mins to main train station by metro. Rooms are different but depends on the taste of the clients . Would stay there again if I am back to Erfurt.)

Interesting experience )

We had two rooms together with several rooms. Friendly staff, large and clean rooms. Fully sufficient. The walk to the city center is about 15 minutes.

Clean and cheap

Just SUPER!! I had a very good stay at Re4 Hostel (which is also very well located)! The reception is really nice, the rooms are clean and we feel very comfortable! And also the breakfast is delicious! I recommend!!
