Wanderdogs

We were driving from Berlin to the Mosel river valley and wanted to break up the drive. Erfurt was a good choice with its charming old town center and cathedral. This hotel is several KM from the center of town, but we thought it was a great choice. The staff is friendly, and our room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. We were traveling with a grown daughter, and got a larger room with beds for the three of us. (I photographed the floor map.) Keep in mind that sitting outside while eating in Germany means sitting with the smokers. In this case, the smokers were right outside open windows. At dinner, the staff closed the windows, and in the morning, I got up and did it myself.
