Another of our stays at this family run hotel. Welcomed by the Altmanns and found our room quite large enough with comfortable beds.An excellent breakfast with real Bircher-Muesli and a full selection on the buffet. Very quiet but central near the botanic gardens that are worth a visit. We hope to return!

Classic hospitality

Moin my dear people, Moin Folks, the University City of Erlangen has a lot of beautiful things to offer, here you will always be charmingly received, here the owner's family and the friendly service staff live in front of the guest König and we feel it when we check in. The rooms are very clean, the hotel is ideally located in the old town, a few minutes' walk, it is so idyllic in the house and the breakfast is very good. Price/performance are very good, happy to return anytime, nice Christmas, good change of year and still many good guests, thank you.

When our original accommodations fell through we were happy to find this very pleasant alternative: if I ever go back to Erlangen I will book here first! The owners offer personal attention, with clean and comfortable rooms and a great breakfast after a quiet night’s sleep.

Kleinod in the city centre

Dear travelers, whether private or business, at any time perfectly suited for a stopover and continually worth a trip, very high hygiene service, and just in these times this is gaining a whole new appreciation. It is an ideal place to stay for years. For me, the point of contact without dogs. Intermediate stop

Out stay was for an event taking place in the beautiful theatre. The hotel was a two minute walk away. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was not open when we were there. Breakfast was continental with lots of choice.

Great location

This is a pretty, small hotel that is convienently located in the middle of Erlangen's city center.  The owners are usually onsite so the service is exceptional.  Although the rooms are a bit small, they are nice with a sitting area and desk.  The breakfast was wonderful with a large selection.  I was very disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on certain dates because I enjoyed a fantastic meal here 6 years ago and was looking so forward to dining there again.  We were here for three nights and it was such a pleasant stay.

Quaint, Small Hotel

Repeatedly booked and satisfied with the location and quality. This time suffered from the high temperatures of June. Rooms without air conditioning, with ventilator. Sleeping after a cold shower rather restless and uncomfortable. Staff as always very friendly. Breakfast buffet lovingly and adequately. My accommodation will probably be selected in the future based on weather.

Central, too hot in summer

The hotel is located on the theatre square in Erlangen, which unfortunately is only a parking lot. The pedestrian zone, the start with small shops and the centre are only a few minutes away, for example the uniclinic is also a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are clean and friendly, wirelessly decorated. The staff are very friendly at the reception and also at breakfast. Even on a business trip it is nicer than a buisnes hotel. The dining room is also very good. For the rooms it is quiet, the WiFi works. Glad to see you again.

I booked the hotel as part of a tour and I'm happy to come back! The service is great, the reception is competent and very friendly! Everything has been explained and prepared for us! There is even fresh fruit in the room! Simply top!
