The hotel has rooms in old and new construction. My room was in the old building and was really simple set up. For this, the room is clean and the staff is really friendly and attentive. The room lamp took a few minutes before it got somewhat bright in the room. In rooms on the side of the street you can only sleep with closed windows if you are used to being more quiet from home. The breakfast is very good and you will find everything you would expect at a 3-star hotel.

Located in the centre with free parking.

My wife and I were driving from Norway to Flensburg for the fifth time and checked into the Central Hotel for the first time. We had reservations in Norway already. Very friendly staff. Our rooms to the main street were very noisy due to traffic. We had to let the windows through at night or we couldn't sleep and it was very warm in the room because there was no air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was okay except for the hot bacon and stews that were kept warm with teaspoons, not a good idea. I'm a little disappointed.

A short trip to Flensburg.

Near centrum and walking street.
Good rooms and very good breakfast.
Staff nice and helpful. Late arrivals can have trouble finding parking place.
Many good eating places near and the habour is a goid place to relaxe with its old ships.

Super easygoing hotel

The hotel is located on the way from the train station to the city centre or the harbour area. It is worth noting the very friendly staff at the reception (also responsible for the drinks in the lobby area in the evening) and the breakfast room. The breakfast was excellent and was offered in a comfortable room with not as close seating as a buffet. The rooms are rather simple without special features and not very large, but clean.

By location and staff good hotel

The hotel is very central. The pedestrian zone is separated from the hotel by only one street. Our room was very beautiful and generous, as was the bathroom. Every floor was accessible by elevator! Through a double glazing, there was no street noise! The breakfast was very rich and good. The staff were very friendly and hospitable!

The staff (reception, breakfast service ; night watch) were exceptionally friendly, hospitable and helpful; the breakfast was extensive and the components were always fresh and full; the only thing to complain about was my single room, which was not very comfortable and was located at the main thoroughfare, which made a lot of noise and lasted for almost 24 hours; the breakfast room and reception area with an attached bar are modern and inviting, and you get a  pick-up  even at a very late hour.

Two night shopping stay, always nice to visit Flensburg, great hotel and location, lovely fresh and tasty breakfast. Personnel welcoming and polite, rooms “roomy” and clean.
Easy for free parking, and within minutes in the walking precinct. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel

After a break, booking.com tried to arrange another hotel in Flensburg for us. Two of us were offered; we decided to go to the Central Hotel in Flensburg. As soon as we were informed, someone from booking.com called us and was embarrassed to say that we had to take another hotel, in the Central Hotel  - be - children unwanted. In fact, this also (indirectly formulated) says on the Internet page:  - This hotel does not offer accommodation for children. This room does not offer room for baby beds. This room does not offer room for delivery beds. Pets are allowed in an hotel.  Dogs are allowed, children are unwanted. Sometimes I am alone in the Central Hotel and the company died for me.

Children not wanted...

The hotel is very well located, the Red Road can be reached in a minute. But it is on the street and the rooms are a little older. But everything is very clean. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious.

Have a good breakfast.

This hotel is not going to win any style awards! The decor is dated and the hotel is pretty basic and no frills. We stayed here last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Our room smelled of smoke  and even after opening the windows this did not dissipate. If we weren't so tired we would have complained. On the plus side the staff especially the guy at reception was super helpful and friendly. The room was also spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy.
