A really nice hotel & restaurant not far from Salzburg, The room was basic but very clean and not uncomfortable, The staff were excellent, really helpful and all spoke English without any problems. I ate breakfast there every morning, and also had evening meals on two occasions in the restaurant and the food was fantastic, Parking was great, loads of space and the hotel is off the street in Freilassing and so is very quiet, and peaceful. 
My only wish is that the had a lift as getting suitcases /bags  up and down the stairs can be difficult if heavy 

I plan on returning to Freilassing in spring and will definitely be booking in here again,

lovely quiet hotel & restaurant with very pleasant staff

We stayed here in order to remain in Germany but be able to take a taxi or bus to Salzburg. It worked out well. The bus is ok. The taxi ranges from 20 to 30 euros depending on time and driver. the staff was very helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is ok, but the waitress was very nice. It's convenient if you want to stay in Freilassing. Parking is easy. It's a little hard to find as it not on a main road.

Nice hotel with nice staff

My parents, my 6 year old and I stayed here in August 2018. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and of an acceptable size. The hotel is at the end of a quiet road outside the town which suited us fine. We used a taxi to visit central Salzburg two days running. The taxi fare was €20/25 each way. We could easily have walked the 10 minute walk to the bus-stop from the hotel but chose not to as it was about 32 degrees when we visited. The hotel owner was really helpful with bus info/maps and called the taxi company for us.
The food at this hotel was very good. The breakfast was traditional and plentiful with a beautiful breakfast room. We ate at the hotel all 3 nights, the food was excellent and the restaurant was lovely too. 
We would very definately use this hotel again if we wanted to visit Salzburg.

Lovely hotel that made us feel very welcome.

In January I booked two rooms here for 3 nights in July. This was part of a 3 week tour of Germany. 

The Hotel is split into two buildings which are on the same site and very close (less than a minute walking distance apart). The first room was very clean and spacious. The setting is quiet and peaceful with only the odd train or plane passing by on route to Salzburg. The breakfast is very good with a wide choice to pick from. The family who run the Hotel are very friendly and helpful.  There is a restaurant too which is very good.The family are involved in all aspects of the business from checking in/ out to cooking and serving your meals.  

However, for the second room I had to cancel it (and every other second room for the tour). That is when the shock came. This hotel has a 14 DAY cancellation period when a booking can be cancelled at no cost. My cancellation was made 12 days prior to check-in, so, hey-presto, there was a cancellation charge of 80% of the entire booking. Most of the other hotels allowed cancellation at no cost (one of them had a 2 month cancellation period!). So, even though this is a nice hotel, BEWARE THE CANCELLATION PERIOD.

I have given this hotel a low score as I have effectively paid double the price for one room.

I can't say enough about this hotel ,great location ,the friendliest staff really peaceful and quiet ,really nice breakfast and top quality food in the restaurant.I will definitely be visiting again .

What a find 

Location: Located 15 min or less walk from shopping and public amenities. However this did not cause any concern to us at all. The place is very quiet and peaceful.
Amenities: The room/bath room we had was spacious enough to accommodate a desk, luggage, bed side tables. They all look very new. The lighting/electrical sockets were well designed to accommodate varying needs. There is also a shaving mirror, a very rare item in hotels now.  The beds were very comfortable. The hotel met more than expected of a three star hotel.
Reception/Service: Exceptional service at reception by the lady and her husband. The hotel appears o be run by a family. It was a pleasure to see the lady who prepares the breakfast every morning. She was very delightful, has a very pleasant nature. The breakfast itself had a very good spread.
Cleanliness: Cleanliness was in very high standard 
Breakfast/Restaurant: We also had dinner at the hotel twice. Although, the menu choices were limited in our opinion, what was offered was in very good quality in terms of taste and presentation. Staff also showed excellent hospitality. This restaurant is open to public as we noted and  diners  from the neighborhood  appeared to come there regularly.
