We stayed with two couples for an extended weekend at the Hotel Meintzinger. The whole object was a little too short in our room. Lastly, the room was very clean. The rooms are individually and comfortably decorated. Many small details are enthralling. Here a good interior design can be enjoyed properly. The object is optically a dream. However, if you equip the rooms with many accessories, you have to wipe a lot of dust. This was a little too short in our room. Lastly, the room was picobly clean. The whole hotel is not designed for people with mobility restrictions. There is no elevator and you have to run three stairs at all (rece order and check-out, breakfast and breakfast in the breakfast room, respectively). Unfortunately, on the 1st of August, we also had to wipe a lot of dust. This was a little too short in our room. Lastly, the room was clean. The whole hotel is not designed for people with mobility restrictions.

Unfortunately no interest in the guest

The hotel's furnishings as well as the expensive wines are excellent. 1001 words are not enough to describe this decorating ambience.

It's outstanding.

Why can't you just give me five stars? Compared to other hotels that have received five stars from me so far, there would have to be minus eight here. Each one of them is an extra for the individuality of the facility, the great wine selection, the effortlessness of the staff, the little dishes (bread and flame cakes), the breakfast, the whole atmosphere. Okay, I'm actually at 10 stars now. To put it briefly - it's just unique here and you feel comfortable. I'll be safe again.

You rarely find such a beautiful place.

The princess's suite is tastefully furnished, but unfortunately has very soft mattresses. Who likes it? There were actually NO eggs in the house at breakfast! Good thing I didn't ask for chicken, because it comes from the tetrapack! Every second cocoa on the machine is watered. Shame, such little things undermine the overall impression.

Disappointing in Details

The winery was restored with great attention to detail over two years. We were lucky to have stayed in a few steps away from the friends' house, because every year in early May the hopest takes place and there is fun until midnight. So whoever comes in the spring should ask when the hopest is.;-). Friends had the misfortune of having a room right for the party. Everything was done to offer them a room with a little more possibilities to keep the noise down. Very nice. The breakfast and most rooms are greatly equipped. There are various sun terraces. The wine offer has something for every taste. The surroundings have something to do with long walks, or a bike ride.

Class winery with hops in May

We stayed at this hotel for an overnight during a traveling trip by car. The hotel is quite nice, somewhere between modern and traditional. We booked one of the larger rooms. The best thing about our room was the bathroom/shower room, it was really nice made, newly renovated. The room itself perhaps a bit too traditional for our taste and it becomes really difficult to maintain a large traditional room in terms of dust and webs. I guess it comes down to taste but we felt a bit lost in the room and preferred spending most of our time in the wine lounge area and the restaurant which was really cozy and homely. The rooms could use a bit of re-designing in my opinion but its personal taste. Friendly staff. Had it been for the room only we would have probably landed at 3 stars but the rest of the experience and areas of the hotel made up for 4 stars. Breakfast has a lot of different options, I would probably have reduced the options and focused on  less products of higher quality, also I'm really tired of seeing the automatic coffee machines in breakfast rooms. You cannot get a really good coffee from those machines, its just not possible. I would return but hoping they will make the rooms slightly more cozy as well.

Cozy hotel with potential

Beautiful, modern and generously cut rooms. Bathroom with rain shower. Very good breakfast buffet. The wine tasting with three different wines that we made on both nights was great, because each of us could choose for himself and we had a great consultation. The wine plates were also very good. Fair price-performance ratio. The only problem is that the Gastro closes at 10 a.m. and then there's no room available when you travel with several people and you're considerate. Another small shortcoming was that not all people are considerate and I was disturbed one night by loud noise from another room.

Modern, clean hotel - great wine tasting possible

The great building and its stylish furnishings invite to feel comfortable. We had three times the same room category and each room was different. The rooms are rather purposefully furnished, clean and with enough space. Only the creaking floors in the rooms bothered us a little. The breakfast was very diverse and very appealing. Everything made a fresh impression and the buffet was always quickly replenished. With just a coffee machine, however, you had to do some stopping until you could be heated. Generally, the staff were always very free and hardworking. But you can sit on the ground floor (outdoors) and enjoy a great deal of fun and relaxation in the hotel. There are also many options to get out of the hotel, especially if you want to get out of the hotel.

A family trip on Pentecost

In the centre of Frickenhausen, this beautiful hotel and winery combines modernity and chic design in historical architecture with taste. It is an ideal starting point for excursions, walks and sightseeing of all kinds. On the terrace of the romantic courtyard and the wine cellar, you can enjoy wonderful wines from the house's own wine cellar and small dining room roof. The rooms are quiet despite the central location - the church bells are heard, yes, but they are really only back noise and not disturbing. The views from the suites on the second floor are very sensational. In addition to the large rooms, you can enjoy a wonderful relaxation with a beautiful view of the fridge. This can be enjoyed here for a long time and you should be sure to enjoy a very nice and safe view of the café. However, you should be able to enjoy the whole house with a long, long time and a good time to spare.

Modern hotel in a historic building - perfect for wine lovers

Very nice house in a central location with a lot of charm, tasteful furnishings, various comfortable seating and terraces, pleasant atmosphere and very good seriousness. The noisy and even nightly 15 minutes of uninterrupted church bell ringing is unfortunately unbearable.
