We stayed at the hotel for 3 days / 2 nights to explore the beautiful area. Unfortunately, the hotel was a flop. The famous restaurant including the beer garden is closed / opening time unclear. (Naturally nowhere visible when booking.) Unfriendly you can't call the staff because they don't talk to everyone. Our room was bad and would have needed one or the other repair. Air conditioning, there was no (not bad, there is a slightly older ventilator), which was to be used for TV like the times of Uncle Tom and similar to an ant beer. The toilet capacity had to be returned to the bathroom after the bathroom was filled normally otherwise the water would have been turned all night long. If there was no glass in the bathroom (nothing is guaranteed) we should not have a glass in the bathroom or any other.

I'd rather not...

On a nice evening, you can stay in the guest garden, which is located directly on the busy Federal road. Glass walls keep the noise but in limits. The menu is worthy of a good restaurant. Offers are floor-to-ceiling specialties that all taste excellent. The wait staff is very attentive. The prices are also moderate. If you prefer to dress in a rustic outdoor atmosphere, you should choose the guest room. Here is a cozy and dignified setting. A spacious location that is just as suitable for festive occasions as for a quick snack in the dining room. See what to recommend!

Nice guesthouse, but inside more restaurant than guesthouse.

we were guests of the Gasthouse Eisberg. The hotel room was clean and fit to everything you would need for a one night stay. Pay attention to the check in times as they are restricted. The assistant was very clear and kind to us.  Reception is located downstairs which was a bit odd to find. Unfortunately when we arrived, the parking place was full as it is shared with the nearby restaurant so we had to find another solution. We were however lucky to get a nearby parking place. The only annoyance is that there is no breakfast facility and there is no cafe nearby to get anything in the morning. We decided to drive  directly to Baden-Baden for having breakfast and do some sight seeing.

Good quality, fair price

Dinner, well-filled plates, very tender meat, German cuisine, friendly server. Perfect quality ratio. 60€ to 3€ with great beers. I recommend pork and späetzle (German pasta) or beef grill and fries/salad.

A tasty and hearty dish

They have a building as a hotel, and another adjacent building in which they have some apartments. There is a large parking lot, and they have a restaurant terrace. The apartment is very large, a living room, two bedrooms, a very large bathroom, a kitchen. Very comfortable. We were five. It is very close to Gengenbach, which is the most beautiful pub in the area.

 Pretty good enough.

Our apartment was huge, very nicely done. Bath, shower, 2 toilets and a fully fitted kitchen. The room isn't cheap but well worth it. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was very nice, very typical and extremely good value for money! The staff speaks good English and they were very nice and helpful. the only downside is that  being a very hot day and without air conditioning, we had to sleep with the windows open, which, being right on the main road, it was quite loud.

We had booked several rooms ^for europa park on the weekend of 24/10/13, late arrival, we were given the codes to get in, thankfully! this was not the case for some people who received numbers but couldn't get in, one and a half hours outside, idem for others, so be careful if you booked online, ask for your code before you leave and the phone of the owners, plus, bad surprise, they don't accept card payment, cash, we ask you for your card number at the booking but it's not debited, you have to pay at the time of departure, if you don't have cash, look for a 500 card dealer, it's not clear and super easy for people who don't speak German, however.

We booked a double room for 3 days in the guest house. The aim of our trip was a multi-day trip to the European Park. The location of the house is optimal (directly on the B3) and always easy to reach. The free parking is very spacious and is only 10-20 metres away from the front door. The very quick and easy check-in (as well as check-out) was more than a relief after the long drive! The room was simple but at the garage. Despite the location it was very quiet. The ball was aimed at a green area on the rear side of the house. We could sleep very well. The bathroom was not new but clean and unpretentious. Breakfast was also worth a lot and the price was very good. Everything was super-expensive and perfectly recommended for our staff and staff!

Better than expected

I spent two nights in the guest house in Rome because I wanted to drive one day to the Europa Park to Rust. From Friesenheim to Rust it was about 27km, so not that far. The guest house in Rome was simple and simple. The room was okay. We had a good balcony. There was even a flat screen TV but with poor reception since it was satellite-based. The bathroom was simple. To shower it was very annoying because it was a funny combination. There was no bracelet and only a lever to press.
