Absolutely disaster!!! With 3 grandchildren I rode along the lawn, found a room here. The shower was defective, I wiped it several times, I reported it to the reception. Reduction? Rooms I could have changed. Ha, ha, after we all showered? Please go to the farm next door: great service, great food and great room!!! It's worth paying a little more!!! For me anyway!!!

What a disaster!

Hot rooms are very warm. Ventilator is good, but it doesn't bring much. Rooms are fine, small repairs are needed. Breakfast is good for taste and choice more than expected. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been closed since late 2022.

It's a shame, but it's a good thing.

We celebrated our wedding on June 3, 2023, our wedding planner ordered food at the restaurant Krone. Which turned out to be the biggest mistake. We had designed an excellent menu, we got: - half of what was ordered. The other 50% were completely missing. - Of the 50% was 20% misdelivered - and the remaining 30% could be thrown away because everything was burned. - All the food we ordered was from the Penny Market and not homemade - complete bests - served - serves were not delivered - Buffet descriptions were forgotten I can go on this list until the end.

Thank you for nothing.

Where to start...the non-conforming room you book a double bed you end up with two simple beds and a simple couch each. the bathroom is to clean. the shower is broken, full of rust. at the staff level they are not even polite...and the housekeeper comes in the morning like this to your room while you are sleeping. the second day she knocks on me I say  no  she comes in anyway and starts talking to me in German. I say I don't speak German but only French or English. nothing to make her talk to me in her language and scream at us. then after she finishes screaming and knocks on the door of the room. frankly we're not where the hotel is in a hotel. in case there's a bar and there's a restaurant to greet us. then yes there's a hotel.

Hotel dead, has escaped!!!

After a day at Europa Park, the family room is very nice, junior style suite with 2WC and shower, old-fashioned decoration, including carpet... nothing to say about cleanliness.

For a night after Europa Park

2 nights booked, first night all great. On the second night we had to borrow towels from friends we were visiting, because we didn't have a lot of unfriendly staff. When we complained at the reception the next morning, we wanted to get a coffee, it was as if there was no German towels and we were blamed for having finished the electrical equipment and also for having to get out of the house.

Disaster alarm!

We were all positive about the place and were absolutely disappointed with the service in terms of the main course meat was served although not even half of the people were served with different salads bottles, O-juice without salads was not possible for them, they continued the salad buffet for about 40 people with 5 bowls of salad prepared within minutes and the first 10 people were empty the filling took 15 minutes while everyone was waiting at the buffet... At the same time the meat of the main course was already served although not even half of the people were still enjoying the pre-dinner and the two were waiting for the buffet. The supplements were given in small plates which were not quite enough to serve for the number of guests.

Absolute top disaster

Had a 2 night stay booked on the internet in the Hotel Krone, Friesenheim, my thoughts was this is traditional Gasthof but what a disappointment.
The room was basic but had a very wired decor  silver wallpaper and yellow carpet.
The TV Channels was either Chinese or Russian no English Channels.
Breakfast was not good at all , the fried eggs had a crust on top of it , it seemed they was done hours ago.
Coffee was out of a machine and was not good at all.
There was no traditional breads from the region at all.
After 2 nights we changed to the Hotel Ochsen which was only over the street .
What a different`s  it made, it was beautiful and clean light and fresh, breakfast superb we definitive go again.

Very very disappointed

We were there with the family for dinner today. The service was excellent. The menu didn't read wishes open. There was something for us vegetarians too. The food was very tasty and we felt very comfortable. We're happy to come back.:-)

Top service, very tasty food

The crown in Friesenheim near Lahr, on B3, offers alternating so-called lunch tables with very good food; this is also reflected in the positive response. Good selection of food; bath, regional cuisine in a nice ambience. Friendly service; predominantly bath wines; large parking space
