The staff is very attentive to the individual wishes of their guests. The rooms are minimally furnished, unfortunately our room was a little dusty. The bathroom is beautifully designed. During breakfast we could note what we wanted. The restaurant had a rather manageable menu, but this was due to the absence of the cook due to illness. The food was of good quality, however, and the prices were slightly over-the-top. The spa area is nice, despite the sulphur-containing pools, there was no unpleasant odor. The restroom is wonderful because it is completely glazed and you can see in the middle of the green. The hotel got new owners in December, so older ratings are best. The hotel is located slightly overlooked, about five quarters of an hour away by car and a quarter of a mile from Passau.

Nice days of wellness

Since Munich is working during the Bauma fair with prices beyond good and evil, it went a little further inland (170 km). Since there was enough time in my luggage, why not? The hotel makes a very good impression. It is in absolute peace, with a beautiful view. Why has it not yet made such a click right now? The room or my booked room, has been renovated, but kept in a very minimalist style. There is not a single picture on the wall, the parquet floor snoring at every step, bathroom average. The snoring can make us feel very comfortable, but thanks to the reduced, almost spartan concept, it worked counterproductive.

Nice location, but...

The first thing to mention is that the hotel has new owners, who have renovated and remodeled a lot. Unfortunately, you still read the old reviews from the past that give a false impression. The staff are very nice and friendly, the rooms are always neat and clean. The spa area is recommended. I was in the hotel for over 5 weeks and was very satisfied. In conclusion: great, keep going if the hotel is on the right track.

Nice hotel, nice staff - new owners!

After many years, I was once again at the Victoria Fountain. I was greeted very kindly at the reception, and when asked if the wellness area was still open to the public, I was immediately told. (Please announce 1.5 hours in advance that all saunas are also well-heated) Then I decided to drink a coffee in the restaurant, which tasted great. The staff were very friendly and in the conversation it turned out that it was being run under new management. Which also made the atmosphere noticeable.

Pure relaxation

The hotel isn't the first address, but it's certainly fine for a few nights. You must like the smell of sulfur in the water, but we found it rather pleasant. The rooms are not very spacious, but functionally equipped. The breakfast buffet selection is not very large, but okay. The small spa area is only pleasant when there are not too many guests. When the house is full, the small sauna and pool will surely hit its limits. The special plus of the house: its location. Quiet, in the middle of landscape and park, we enjoyed the view and the tranquility. Since there are not too many good hotels in this area, we would always choose this hotel for two to three nights.
