The interieur looks a bit out dated, but everything works, fits the whole 'charming hotel near a beautiful lake and in the mountains'-picture and, I must say, I've never visited a cleaner hotel than this one. There was no molth in the bathroom, no hears in the sink, nothing! Absolutely spotles!

And, the large room (32m2) has a great view of the lake, is spacious enoughto put a babybed in (they offer to put it up for you, including bedlinnen).
The only small downside was that the pillows are really flat. We had to fold the pillow in order to have some support under our head.

This hotel is so amazing with a sulerb location just in front of the lake..

Very spacious room , very tidy,  super clean , excellent balcony with magnificent views , bery very very kind and helpful staff , excellent wifi , very good breakfast,  lots of free parkings ..

The location is super and just infron of the lake ans 3 minutes drive from the town ..

Super stay

Very nice accommodation in Füssen, 10-15 min to Schwangau. Very good price, good breakfast, polite staff, free garage, free WiFi,  very clean. Room maybe a little bit small, but not a big deal. Recommended!

Wonderful position, great quality/cost ratio

This hotel is a great location during non winter months.  Our room had an absolutely gorgeous view of the lake but it was frozen since we were here in February.  The service was quite slow and it seemed like we were a bother to them when we asked for the wifi password.  The breakfast was decent and check in and out was smooth.  I probably wouldn't come back here unless it was summer time.  The room was extremely spacious though so I'd still recommend this place.

Great view

Hopfen is really a "wow" place.  We happened to pass it on bus 56 from Fussen and the scenery of the lake, houses, clouds and mountains took our breath away.  Since we have the Fussen card which allows for free transport in this area and it is only 10 mins away from Fussen, we decided to visit it before leaving Fussen.  We took the 7.25 am bus from Fussen and alighted before the tourist information office and walked along the lake. 
Again the view of the lake has a "wow" effect on us and we walked along the lake, thinking how lucky we were to witness this beauty.  We had coffee at Hotel Fischer Am See.  The waitress is friendly and the place is simply and pleasantly decorated.  it has a view of the lake.
After that we took the short bus ride back to Fussen, very pleased to discover this place as we may not have seen it as our original plan was to take bus 71 which may not pass here.  Strongly recommend visiting this place when in Fussen.

The Hotel has a great view on the lake, the staff at the restaurant and the housekeeping were very gentle, however the Hotel management is extremely rude and aggressive. The food at the restaurant was edible but not at the level. All together too expensive for what was offered.
