As a previous reviewer mentioned, there is no reception on site.  Surly cafe worker downstairs pointed to a phone on the wall and said to call the number.  After a couple of unsuccessful attempts a young man came out of the bar and helped us dial the phone, talk to the property owner, retrieve the key, we would have probably given up if not for him.  Website we booked through said there was free parking - most of the spaces had signs that said "parking for cafe only", we just took one of them, still not sure where the inn's parking was suppose to be

The actual room was quite nice, very nicely decorated and had a lovely balcony with a distant view of the castles  Location is somewhat remote, but there are several eating places a short drive away down by the lake (I wasn't about to give any business to the rude woman downstairs).

We called the owner the following morning as we were leaving to find out what to do with the key and told him to go ahead and charge our card for the stay.  Right after hanging up his wife showed up on site, came through the door and insisted we pay her cash, which was kind of irritating.

All in all, not a bad place but not sure it's worth the additional hassle it took to get checked in and settled.  No wi-fi.

Confusion Reigns

When we finally arrived at the hotel, we were locked out!  No reception, nobody home, no note, no phone, no nothing (we knew there was no Internet when we booked it).  We eventually found a kind neighbor who knew who to call, and got the code to open the key box (the neighbor across the street just shrugged his shoulders).  Then, no heat, and no phone -- how are you supposed to call a taxi, especially when the bus does not follow the posted times (the bus driver had to look up the last trip from town, as she didn't know it)?  Plus, the covers of the duvet were rough and crinkly.  It was clean and quiet, but be warned -- this is nowhere near town, and even farther from the castles.  The next day the owner did show up to demand her money (in cash only, and now, even though a credit card was required to book it), and was both unapologetic and rude.  No restaurants in walking distance either.  Also, booking.com posted that a full refund was available until midnight 3 days before the stay, but we would have been charged  for a day and a half even though we tried to cancel many hours before the deadline.  This is no place for foreigners, or for tourists.  Stay away.
