A hotel in the middle of Fulda. A better location can hardly be found. We also slept very well. The service is wonderful, as are the rooms. We will certainly come back. The location is wonderful. The castle, the dom, etc. are around the corner. Also the hotel is located in a rather quiet side street. We had a nice, large room in the neighborhood. Even if you point out this when booking, an elevator is very missing. Narrow, steep stairs to the rooms. But the rooms are compensated. They are well shielded, large, modern with shower accessible. We know many in Anda, in the hotel at the castle but we finally got a good night's sleep, because either the dom has arrived at a large hotel on Saturday morning or the hotel is getting a little more comfortable and all the rooms are in order.

Wonderful for a short stay in Fulda

For a short trip to Fulda we chose this hotel. The location right in the city near the cathedral and the castle was great. The ladies at the reception seemed slightly annoyed when we arrived. So we were quickly dealt with. When asked if there is a parking space, we are told it costs 15 euros. Please what? Free parking is now standard in Germany, but it seems not to have arrived here. This is really small, but clean and freshly renovated. For one night it is perfectly ok. Unfortunately there are no connections to the USB connectors and the TV, all the things that every hotel has now, and this standard is not.

For one night, fine, but nothing special.

We had a very nice spacious double room. The breakfast buffet leaves no wishes open. The service and staff are very friendly and helpful. The garage offered is quite narrow and requires driver's luck. We would love to come back.

Central Hotel for Well-being

First of all, the positive: the whole staff was super nice and friendly, and the breakfast also offered a huge selection of delicious things. Also, the location is very pleasant (especially if you want to go to the castle theater in the evening because you only have a few minutes to walk). Although my wife and I were told in the booking that it will be a very small bathroom, but these terms are also relative. Not only the bathroom, but also the DZ was just small and we were glad that we only had a small travel bag, I hardly knew where we should have put a suitcase.

Extremely small rooms

Our room was clean and well furnished. The reception ladies were very friendly, the breakfast was a disaster! Empty buffet, lavish selection, cold rooms and even the service rather cool and superficial! Really a pity!

Nice central hotel but

We had booked this hotel through Bookingcom, unfortunately without the possibility of cancelling it. Already in January 2020, we were due to pay almost 350 euros for November. However, the seminar was cancelled because of Corona and we asked about Storno. Unfortunately, we had to print the full price - not the fine kind.

Cancellation due to COVID - No co-operation

The double room was tiny. Even as a single room, it would be an addition. There was no room for a regular suitcase. The walls between them were so thin that you could understand the guests in the next room. The breakfast was fine, everything was there.

Small rooms

The rooms are very simple and small, depending on the choice. When the windows are open in the summer, the central location is noticeable in the noise level. The parking lots are demanding for entrance and exit. Otherwise, it's a quaint little hotel with a nice reception and good breakfast in Corona times.

Very central

The budget room was booked for one night. Very small but okay. Staff know when they check in that there are bigger rooms. Everything is nice but very quiet. Right in the center. Breakfast buffet generously including lactose-free milk.

Okay, that's it.

The room was really small, but the bed was big. It was definitely not recommended for fat people, which could lead to problems in the bathroom. Clean. There was a garage for my bike. The breakfast was very good, I was served at the table because of the Corona situation, but I could choose from the buffet.
