Room was ok but the owner came in several times which was weird. We didn’t feel good about this but didn’t say anything.  Then they remarked we were noisy and we were almost never even in the place. It was mainly to sleep. Wouldn’t go back for sure. Much much better places where you can stay without wondering if someone is going to be coming into your place.

Rooms were fine. Our only issue was the Owner of guesthouse came
Several times and opened door and looked in uninvited. I do not know why as there was no music or noise. Was quite weird and put a dampener on our stay

Lack of respect to privacy was not.

Was not best experience. 

We stayed here for a few nights, almost a full week.  Check in and check out were very easy, seamless.  We had a 1-bedroom apartment on the first floor (not ground floor).  Nice small balcony, but not with much of a view.  We basically looked over the car park area and entrance.  There are rooms with balconies that would offer a better view of the surrounding mountains and Zugspitze.  The small apartment layout was extremely efficient, and we had everything that we needed:  outstanding internet connection, outstanding shower with instantly hot water, nice flat screen TV in the kitchen/sofa area, nice standard German beds were very comfortable, plenty of storage space.  Apartment rooms were separate by doors, which is very convenient.  This allows someone to wake up early for example, close the door to the bedroom and go into the kitchen to make coffee and breakfast while the other person is sleeping.  Very smart!  
Parking is available on site as advertised, and is tight as advertised.  We were told on check-in not to worry because there always seems to be a space available on the property, and she was right!  We always had a great parking space and did not have to worry about Parking on the street.  
The owners just make this as simple and efficient as possible, and do not bother you at all.  We did not have breakfast as this was not available during the COVID-19 precautions.  The only frustration that we had was that our room faced St. Martin Strasse, which is a very busy and loud street.  We were forced to keep our windows closed at night in order to sleep.  Having this very busy street just outside your window is very annoying and frustrating.  That said, the hotel has a great location for walking into town, or for those needing to access the Bahnhof.  
Overall, for the price that we paid, this is a great value for anyone visiting Garmisch.  I think that the owners have done a great job and deserve their strong ratings.  Thank you for helping make our stay memorable.

Very clean, and great value.

Clean and quiet Gaestehaus with mountain view. Very good breakfast and very good Wi-Fi. Close to Garmisch centre and a 15-minute walk to the train station. Included with the booking a free 'Tourist Card'  was given to avail oneself of the Regional buses and various discounts.

There are no elevators.

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen where we also visited other places in Germany and Austria.

WOW!! Brigitte and her son, Miki, make you feel like you're at home.  There are a multitude of options in the area to stay, but why bother when you can enjoy spacious rooms, access to hiking paths out your front door, and watching evening Alpine sunsets from your patio or balcony. But the undeniable reason you want to stay here is the loving and caring treatment Brigitte offers all of her travelers.  DON'T PASS THIS UP. 

Home away from home

Our September, 2018 stay at Gasthaus Brigitte was fabulous. Garmisch, Germany is a jewel in so many ways and the hospitality at Gasthaus Brigitte was perfect! The proximity to local transportation, the main train station, incredible vistas and walking trails, delicious restaurants is beyond amazing. Our hosts made us feel like family! Book early or you will be sorry!

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the convienance of the apartment with 3 spacious rooms plus a 3 by 8 feet balcony . While not deluxe, the amenities met our needs. Most appreciated was the printing of the bus schedule and early breakfast to accommodate plans. The bedroom is on a major street and yet the traffic noise was minimal at night. It is an easy walk to the restaurants and shops.

What a wonderful place to stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen! Clean and comfortable rooms with terrific outside views. Close wAlk to town center and ample off street parking. Host was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good as well. Would recommend staying here!

Great find

All comfort is present in the single room, very nice breakfast with a lot of variety. 
Very friendly people. 
The guesthouse is near by the shoppingstreets, railway station and Garmisch Partenkirchen allows many beautiful walks.

Lovely stay.

The apartment that we stayed in had 2 bedrooms one restroom with shower and a small kitchen that had a fridge and loner dishes. This place is pet friendly and is very well situated in town. It is a short walk about 7 min to restaurants and shopping area and about the same to the train station. The close proximity to the train station was a huge plus. The main propose of this trip was to go to Oktoberfest in Munich. Though we enjoy the fest, we would rather not stay in Munich. 
The owner is super friendly and the apartment was super clean and comfy. This was our second stay there, certainly not our last!
