The Hubertus Hotel is a little old and not the most modern, but the employees/owners are totally compensating for this. Super nice, diligent and tidy. And this is reflected in the cleanliness. The best thing, however, was the breakfast buffet. We have rarely experienced such a selection. Some 5-star hotels do not keep up with this. 7!Various sausages, cheese selection, stir-fry, hearty and sweet, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, various bread/breads, eggs, olives, tomato/mozzarella, etc. And fresh! Nothing packed or baked. Hat off! The staff is super attentive, and 10% helpless.

Hotel Hubertus, I'd love to see you again.

I had booked for the evening at 6 p.m. My birthday party. I had informed that around 9:30 p.m. two or four guests were coming. At 7 p.m. the buffet arrived - food was good - help service was rude to my guests. At 9:15 p.m. I was informed that the buffet must be cleared immediately, as the kitchen is closing and everything still needs to be washed. Just before 9:30 p.m. everything was cleaned up. Two of my guests came at 9:30 p.m. and they were just getting one drink. Because at that time I was told that we have to come to a conclusion because they are closing. I'm 100? After 2 hours. - Bye?

Dismissal

A very normal hotel pulling a basic bed and breakfast. Many problems connecting the wifi to the computer. The breakfast is fine but just as basic. There is no elevator in the hotel. At night access is made with the room key. there is no reception service.

I was forced to sleep there, but the only good thing I regretted was the classic, rich German breakfast. The rest I paid so much and regretted.

Always when the breafast is OK, there is always something not OK for the room.
The bedding is just as nice is bathroom tiles.
The right value for a single bedroom should be 45€ not more.
Fortunetly the cleaning is OK.
Sometime you have to say fortunetly there is something positif to stay!
The average can be the limite when you can better for the same price.

Average hotel for more than average price!

Although the hotel has a slightly dusty charm, it is quite fine for a couple of nights. Everything is really extremely neat and clean and the staff is nice, friendly and always helpful. The room I was in was well equipped and big enough. The bathroom was spacious and there was nothing to miss in the room or the bathroom. Breakfast was also more than enough and the service force was constantly taking care that there was nothing missing. Free parking lots are plentiful. All in all, recommended for the night during the business trip or weekend trip. However, I don't know how it feels in the hotel if the weather is right/warm. The air conditioning and the window is not open, at least, and I don't want to leave the window open.

Enough hotel for business or weekend trips.

The house is definitely a recommendation not to be deterred by the only 3 stars. Although the hotel seems somewhat unclear after the first entrance (which - as one owes to the old photos at the reception - the renovations of the last years) but you are led to the room and already the next day everything is clear. Parking right in front of the door, the rooms are spacious and neatly decorated, with a little decoration, but not too much of it. The bathroom is clean, without any reason to complain. The breakfast room is a little narrow, but you arrange yourself, the cordial service helps and places if necessary. ;-) One disadvantage is that the hotel is located on a busy street, the traffic is very close - the idea is to sleep in a window, but not too much of it.

Friendly and family friendly

A decent hotel with a good breakfast. The rooms on the street are noisy due to the busy road. The reception is no longer occupied after 10 p.m., but anyone can reach it by phone. In the adjacent restaurant you can eat internationally. Large, tasty portions of dogs are welcome.

Central Hotel near the motorway

Hi all,
I've been in the 'Hubertus' in Gernsheim for almost 4 months recently including Christmas 2011 and New Year 2011/12. The Hotel and the Restaurant 'Hubertus' are run by two different families, where the hotel owners are the owners of the property as well. The hotel is german standard 3 star, breakfast is excellent. In the evenings the restaurant is open, and the amounts of food offered are just barely manageable, and with every standard meal the salad bar is free of charge.
The place is pretty distant from everything, apart from a main road and Frankfurt airport so it's not exactly quiet 
Internet is through a Deutsche Telekom Hotspot

4 months in Hotel Hubertus

The heating was already cold in the room at 9pm and even in the morning the bathroom could not be properly heated for showering. The street in front of the hotel leads to the motorway and is very well driven, it is incredibly loud in the room! The breakfast was fine for the price. The staff could respond more amicably to a complaint.
