We checked in at night and thought that the reception was now closed (see the directions), instead of ringing the bell luckily the owner came through an inner door. The place looks very nice, a small courtyard in a very quiet village, the staircase (already nicely furnished) on the first floor takes you to the reception....looks like an apartment in a private house. You go through the breakfast room and get to the rooms. Our room was on a small, quiet balcony, room spaces, furnished with German and modern style.

The rooms are nice and very clean. Breakfast room is full of light and the selection is good. Very good value for money. The garage is free to use and even has charging for vehicles (charged separately, a bit pricey).

Beautiful place, like from a postcard.

With a dog, the stay was ideal for visiting Würzburg. There are many hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. A small garden is right behind the house. Unfortunately, this was rather uncomfortable, so we didn't want to sit outside at night. It is probably also intended for smokers who want to have a hard time on the fast without lighting. The rooms are clean. We slept well, breakfast is OK.

Nice, simple boarding house near Würzburg

It's not only clean and very well maintained, but the service really deserves all five stars, it's a family atmosphere where you can just feel comfortable, and I'm traveling a lot, and I can judge that well, and I was more than pleasantly surprised.

Spontaneous accommodation

Nice, quiet location, 10 minutes to Würzburg. Nice large, clean rooms with air conditioning. Very friendly and welcoming. Prices reasonable. Breakfast very good and varied. Clear recommendation.

For a birthday party, we wanted to have friends stay in Reichenberg. Due to a sudden worsening of her mother's cancer, we wanted to cancel just before (3 days). We explained the circumstances to the owners of the pension and asked for cancellation or postponement of the booking. They refused, we had to pay in full without getting the room.

Unfriendly and uncool

The room and the bathroom are beautiful and extremely clean. The bed is very comfortable. The hostess is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offers good selection of breads, pies, cheeses, jams, hams and fresh fruit and vegetables. The property offers a free parking and a garage. We definitely recommend it! It’s better than some 4 star hotels we stayed at.

It was a great success, the village is very quiet and the charming hotel with both interior and exterior parking, a very pleasant garden to rest for a while and have a beer.The room is very good, clean, spacious, comfortable and modern.The perfect bathroom is also.The breakfast is quite basic but good.Just next door is a restaurant where you can eat well at reasonable prices.

A BIG election in the area.

The lady in charge of the management is very kind and available, speaks good English and is very organized for breakfast. Great accommodation if you want to visit Wurzburg while staying outside the city (it is a few minutes' drive from the centre of Wurzburg). Right next to the adjacent building there is a decent brewery where you can dine at the right prices.

When I needed a good and comfortable Bed and Breakfast in the area, someone recommended “Am Schlossberg”, and it turned out to be Very Good.

Reservation over the phone was easy.
Finding the place is no problem, and it is situated in the centre of a very nice village.

Check-in was efficient and Friendly, and because I was on a motorcycle, they asked: “are you a friend of X?”. Indeed, I was.
There is a covered garage for motorcycles, which is nice.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower, good bed, and good functioning Wifi. The breakfast was Excellent, and checkout was smooth.

Beware, as the website states: payment by BankCard is possible, but no credit-cards (the CC-fees in Germany are still an issue).

All in all an Excellent place, and I will probably stay there again when I travel through Germany.
