We stayed here 2 nights. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the old-world charm of the hotel and area! The family who runs it is very nice and accommodating and they speak English. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is updated. The rooms are all solid wood. We had one of the corner rooms with a huge round balcony that gave us wonderful views. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and the food was great! They have an elevator and the wi-if is good. Definitely will return to this one! Too cute!

Lovely and Quaint!

The staff really made this hotel worth the stay. They were friendly, accommodating, and incredibly helpful. Everyone spoke perfect English. The rooms were cozy, spacious and comfortable, with radiating heaters that gave you control of the temperature of both your bedroom and bathroom. The showers had constant hot water (which is a must for me!). The breakfast spread was very nice, with lots to choose from. There was a table reserved for my husband and I every morning for breakfast so there was never the "awkwardness" of trying to find a table in a full breakfast buffet. There was ample parking in a small lot in front of the hotel. While free wifi was included, the signal was hit or miss and it was more of a hassle to stay logged in than it was to just connect using data.

Comfortable, cozy, and so friendly

Very nice familiar conduction hotel..personal so gentle.rooms are clear and good breakfast.hotel has a parking for cars outside.glottertal is a beautiful village between hills at about 15 minuts to Friburgo.

Very nice

Room was very large for the price, with a seating area and small table and we had two balconies (corner room). Bathroom was clean and functional.  The rest of the room was also clean. The staff was friendly. 
The price included a free transportation ticket, so we could take the bus/train to Freiburg (about 30 minute trip), which was a big plus. 
Breakfast was standard fare.  The WIFI did not work well in our room, we could only use it downstairs.
