The boarding house is able to keep up with some *** and ****star houses. Whether it was the reception by the senior who explained everything important to us up to the presentation and explanation of a city plan. We were able to start immediately and explore the city. The room was large and functionally furnished. The bathroom is so fine, nothing unusual but everything very clean and functional. The beds were excellent. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, the choice was not exaggerated but very good and the quality was 100% right. A plate of fresh vegetable strips supplemented the offer. The bread and the buns were very tasty. To mention in particular the homemade ground beef stew, a poem. We will be happy to come back to the senior's second floor and then we will be back to where we are.

Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms were very clean and there was plenty of room. There was no shortage of anything. The host is very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was plentiful. We were very peaceful. Thank you.

I'm all right.

We had a wonderful time at the "Drehscheibe" in Goerlitz. The room was spacious and extremely clean. Decoration could be nicer, as it felt a bit unpersonal, but that is just details.
We slept well there, it was quiet and not too far from the city center or the station.
Breakfast was ok. Nothing fanciful, but it is not to be expected for that price.
Wifi connection was excellent, which was really appreciated

Excellent service for a short stay

The hotel occupies an old-fashioned stable and offers beautiful comfortable and spacious rooms with high ceilings and guaranteed silence.

A hotel of ancient charm

It is an old pre-war building, partly used as a normal dwelling. We have seen the owner, Mr. Menzel, as a friendly and helpful host. The rooms are simple and purposefully furnished and as far as we have seen it have been recently renovated. Unfortunately, only good breakfast is available in the gas chamber, the restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner. For guests, a parking space is available for €3.00 per day, which is closed at night. Furthermore, for dogs, the entrance to the house is allowed.

Very well suited for short stays

We spent 2 nights. The rooms are quiet, despite the location directly on the roundabout and renovated. The beds are very soft but not crowded. Dogs free and a delicious breakfast with lots of sausage/meat selection. The car is fenced and closed at night. There are also closed garage boxes (7.-€) see friendly service from the owner, the hotel is family-run. The restaurant is no longer in operation. Center/Shopping Street is within 10-15 minutes. In all a good stay.

We spent the Easter holidays in this beautiful and well-maintained hotel. Our arrival was by train. From the train station it was less than a mile away. For travelers by car there is a locked parking space. To the city centre it is a quarter-hour walk. We had booked two adjacent double rooms and a single room. The double rooms were very large and comfortable. They were located on the second floor with a separate hallway and one had a tiny room with a (1) seat in one of the two corners of the house. The single room was on the fourth floor. No problem, because there was even a chair. The breakfast room and a single room were very nice. We would definitely come out at night with a few small chairs. Otherwise, we would not be able to get out of there.

Very good and friendly hotel

Cozy and well-maintained rooms. Super friendly staff. Great breakfast. Parking on the premises, free of charge or on a busy street. Room noise in the neighbouring rooms, even among very cautious residents, is always disturbing. The TVs are too loud even at the lowest level, which only adds to the aforementioned point. Location away from the city centre.

A good place to stay for a city trip

We decided to take a short vacation to Görlitz and our choice was to go to Menzel's Hotel Turntable. The guest house is about 15 minutes' walk from the centre, the rooms are simple but clean and the accommodation is cheap. Mr. Menzel and his staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good, fresh and quality products. We would stay in the Turntable again anytime.
