Ideally located in Bavaria, between France and Austria on the road leading to Salzburg we spent a great evening in this establishment. Direct access to the parking to the room. Everything is new or very recent. Functional. Quiet. Very local breakfast room. Restaurant with many local specialties overlooking the lake. impeccable service. The establishment is located in the countryside near a road axis virtually invisible from the hotel/restaurant and noisy.

One-night stop by Lake Chiemsee

The hotel is average. I traveled on Monday, the reception was unoccupied. I had to check where the keys are. No information in advance. The room was renovated, clean and of the size ok. If you want to sleep in the summer with the windows open, then you should not be noisy, because the printing road to the highway passes only 50 meters from the hotel. Breakfast, here was packed jam, honey, etc. That was unfortunate. Because the hotel offers homemade honey. Why was the packed honey fresh on the buffet?

It's all right.

We were having dinner together as a family on the beautiful terrace. The service was very friendly. The food tasted great for everyone, we can highly recommend the saibling and the deer goose. Prices are fine. Reservation is required, parking is strained.

Great restaurant visit.

The bed feels like it is 40 years old and needs urgent replacement. 

Shower water température varying from cold to super hot in few seconds after having been set.

Located nearby a road with quite Dome Traffic but very well insulated.

Rooms Look Good but 

The hotel looks very traditionaltypical Bavarian, or at least what I thought it would look like. Rooms are very modern, clean and big.
Staff has been very nice, even though they don't speak english very well, we managed to get everything we needed.

Fantastic stay!

I was in the area for a wedding and stayed here for five nights and would be happy to return. Starting off was a touch bumpy. When I arrived at 4pm I was told the hotel people wouldn't be in until 5pm. So, time for a little exploring. When I came back I got checked in. Dinner service was just beginning. I was given my key to room 12 and told with a smile, "It's on the first floor. You will figure it out."  Stairs next to the kitchen lead to the rooms. There is an upstairs entrance from the parking lot once you are landed.

My room was modern, super clean, a bit spartan, but plenty of room for luggage and to hang and stow clothes. My room had a small balcony that overlooked the patio and had a view of Chiemsee. It received direct sunlight in the afternoon. It was fun to watch folks come and go both by car and bicycle, Trails are nearby and there is a stand next to the lake to do bird watching about 1.5km from the property.

Breakfast was consistently good and well stocked. I did have dinner one evening, Both the food and service were excellent. I also found everything to be if good value.

The staff is excellent, very pleasant and hard working. Not many on the staff speak English, but communication was done easily with smiles. I'm confident you will enjoy your stay/meal here.

Enjoyed my stay!

Have been the second time at the CHIEMSEEFISCHER Hotel. The rooms are modernized about a year ago and still in a pretty good condition. Style of the restaurant is an interesting mix of Bavarian and cosy style. 

 Food is excellent. Price level for rooms and food are at regular to medium high.

Overall I am happy and might come next business trip again. 

Country side - friendly and modernized 

We ate the belga lentils with blood sausage and the dayliatelle with grilled vegetables. Super many different vegetables in garlic oil the noodles are beautifully made and very tasty. The chicken salad is also excellent and also enough for a man. Very good price ratio. Nice service we come back.

Very good food, beautiful view.

We were on the fourth floor on November 19, 2017. Pre-dishes - main dishes are all greatly prepared and very tasty. The fried saibling as a whole is especially recommended as a main dish, as a pre-dish a variation of cold seafood - also very good. So everything is really wonderful!

Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with breakfast because we wanted to explore the Chiem Lake and the surrounding area. We liked the location well, as the hotel is remote and quiet, and you can reach the lake in a few minutes. As a starting point for entertainment, Chieming is well suited. For example, Chieming is not far from where you can sail to the islands. The hotel is freshly renovated, our room was very nice and spacious, bright and appealingly furnished (comfortable-rustic, modern with wood and everything you need). Everything and the shower were also very new, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not good, there was everything you need without reservations. I was completely refreshed, our room was very nice and comfortable (although we had plenty of room for breakfast and dinner, but we could have had plenty of room for staff and staff).
