Hostel Nanina

This hostel were fantastic, the owner was so friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfy and everywhere was really clean. The showers were great and the communicable kitchen was very large which was good for socialising at night. The only slight downfall was this hostel was listed as being in Munich when it is actually Outside of Munich but with the great subway system this didn't really matter.

The important thing to remember this is a hostel, not a hotel.  We stayed here because we decided to go to Oktoberfest a little late in the game.  The cost was expensive for what you got, but I'm sure we're getting charged for the time of year.  Everything else would have cost me over a grand.  We booked a double room that had a super comfortable king size bed, a hit shower with excellent water pressure, and a small dresser (linens/towels were included).  

It was a 15 min walk to the train station,  but we really booked it a few times and made it in under 8.  From there it was anywhere from 30 mins-1 hour to get to Oktoberfest or Marienplatz.

It is a HoSTEL

We were staying at Nanina during our Oktoberfest weekend. We rented a 10-people room for 3 nights. The rooms and the hostel were clean and I could sleep very well. The only issue was the price-quality ratio (also related to Oktoberfest). For that price I would at least expect a breakfast. Their coffee was undrinkable. But there were many other places in the village where the breakfast was great.
If you would like a clean simple place, then Nanina can be the right choice for you.

This hostel is just OK, not bad not good. Location is not in Munich but train station (Grobenzell) is only a 10 minutes walk and it has connection to Munich metro lines (From hostel to Munich Hauptbahnhof it is about 30 minutes). Stayed in this hostel because of the price, it was much cheaper than all I could find at that time.

Since every other hostel was booked and I didn't wanted to spend thousands of money for only 3 nights, I booked at this hostel.

If you're looking for a good atmosphere and where you can meet people, don't go there. It's definitely not the place for that. Nevertheless, I had the chance to meet nice people in my dorm and still be able to have fun.

They have a new kitchen working perfectly and that's probably the only good thing about this hostel. There's only 1 bathroom on the floor and it's not even in the room. You need to go outside and most of the time they were no toilet papers. At least the shower was in the dorm but without a toilet.
