We found the friendly waitress positive. The establishment looks very old-fashioned, the food (school dishes) was so far okay, the croutons in the soup tasted very much like burnt, old oil, they were not enjoyable. In the evening we both had mild stomach problems and we were not going to eat there at the moment.

Village hostel

The guest house is furnished in the 70s style. The furniture is also so old and has clear use spots. The towels were partially outfitted and the sink had no pinch, so it was difficult to moisturize. The flight net was defective right to the window there is a donerbude with corresponding odor exposure. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned or the bed made. The accommodation is located directly on a busy road. I spent two nights in this accommodation. The hotel bar was no longer occupied from 10pm onwards.

How do the good reviews come about?

It's a pretty basic hotel with some added values. Breakfast was better than expected, and they have a bar/restaurant in the same place. Free Parking is also interesting. Some of the receptionist don't speak english but other do and are really kind. It's not faraway from the Wacken Open Air area, but you will need a car to arrive.

Great deal for the price!

We stayed there with the family for one night. The house looks more old from the outside. But my room was modern and clean. The staircase house needed to be renovated next. The breakfast was good and rich. The price/performance ratio was okay. The hostess was very nice and also tries to meet special requests.

Solides Hotel

We spent one night with four people in this cozy hotel. We booked two double rooms each with breakfast. The rooms were well maintained and in good condition. An absolute highlight was the evening visit to the hotel's own restaurant. The food was super delicious, comparable local cuisine is rare. A big thank you to the whole team in particular but to the owner Ulrike Schön who, by her fresh and friendly way, made our stay a very special experience.

Intermittent cycle stop

I stayed here for two nights taking a single room with twin beds. Ulrike, who owns the hotel, was very attentive and on the second day she had my preference of a pot of tea ready at breakfast without me asking...A group of eight of us had dinner in the restaurant twice and it was good honest food, well prepared. I stupidly left my mobile in my room when I left but when I called it several hours later, Ulrike offered to post it on to me without hesitation and she refused to accept any payment. We will be using this hotel again on our next trip - recommended and very good value.
