wanted to stay at this hotel and booked a room for us
our son and his wife and their baby wanted to come with us
as they have dogs we mailed for further  informations
after a few mails the owner decided to cancel our booking 
we didn't get if it was about the baby or the dogs  
we had the luck to get another room for the period so we had not to cancel our holidays
not very professionnel and respectfully

Not really friendly contact

We were looking for somewhere to stay within easy reach of the the lovely towns around  the Bodensee [Lake Constance] and after much deliberation decided on the Weinberghof. It is situated in the lovely little wine village of Hagnau, slightly out of the village and on a hill so fabulous views over the lake to the Swiss Alps. Very peaceful being away from the busy main road.
It is a guesthouse with b and b but also self catering appartments. It is also a working farm producing grapes for wine and schnapps and also apples.
Christa, the owner, doesn't speak much English but together with my very limited German we managed to understand one another. She is very welcoming .
The bedroom was a good size and the view from the large balcony was breathtaking with fantastic views over the lake towards the Swiss Alps.
Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit and yoghurt, hams and cheeses, and eggs, excellent local bread and conserves.
Many lovely towns within easy reach either by car or by boat. The island of Mainau should not be missed.
To finish off the day, there is a multitude of good restaurants in Hagnau then just go and sit on your balcony with a glass of the local wine from the honesty bar and watch the sun go down over the lake and the Alps-magical!

Lovely guesthouse

A super boarding house! The breakfast is very rich, there is something for everyone! The location is also great, you can look directly at the lake. Our room was very nicely decorated, clean and equipped with a refrigerator. We are happy to come back!!

It's great all around!

The site is a resting place for those athletes after a day full of adventures. whether in summer or winter, the location of this hotel allows you to access any sport you like. recommended.

A simple hotel.

The vineyard is located in the middle of the vineyards, overlooking Lake Constance with a magnificent view! It is very quiet and you can walk about 10 minutes to the small town of Hagnau, but a slightly steep climb on the way back! The farm, i.e. apple growing, winemaking and distillation, the owner runs the Hotel Garni and oversees the holiday apartments. There are 6 rooms, 1 without sea view and about 3-4 holiday apartments. Everything is quite comfortable set up, new and very clean. The prices for the rooms are about 45 € per person and breakfast, the apartments are at 80-90 € per night for two.
