A small, modern house in a quiet location. The rooms are clean and have everything you would expect. The breakfast is very plentiful and leaves no wishes open. In bad weather there is the possibility of staying in the house. The friendly staff helps with all questions competently.

Feeling well

Villa Neugarten (together with Guter Tropfen and Renn) is the best place to stay at Lake Constance. The service is super. Beata offers you every day a big smile at breakfast and delivers all the extra's you want. She's a treasure. 
We booked the appartment which has all the comfort you need. Two seperate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a wonderfull living room. The garden is perfect for zen time but the lake is only a few minutes walk. In times like this it is a gift to swim in the beautiful surrounding. We come at the lake for more than 50 years already but never had this perfect stay. Thank you very much team Neugarten!

If you're looking for a perfect place... don't look any further

Villa Neugarten is a very nice small hotel in a quiet residential area in the quiet village of Hagnau. Both the small town centre and the water can be reached by walking for about 10 minutes. We had a very nice room with a balcony from which you could even see the Lake Constance. The bathroom had a window. Everything was very clean and well maintained. There is a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with beds. Instead of a minibar there is a refrigerator with drinks in the breakfast room and you can use the coffee machine. The drinks you take out are included in a list. The breakfast that can also be eaten on the terrace is rich and delicious. Plots are absolutely recommended. Absolutely recommended before a park.

A small hotel to feel comfortable in

It was a nice little house with an excellent breakfast, a very nice ambience, a small garden, we had only a small room, but it was very clean and pleasant, and we felt very comfortable, and I'm sure we'll be back soon when we get a place.

Very nice.

I was aware that the room cost 9m2 79€ per night, but I was aware that the room was directly adjacent to the smoker's terrace, unfortunately not. So I was constantly having the quicksand in the room, which was very uncomfortable. Since the reception was only occupied on my departure day, unfortunately, I couldn't change the room either. Under the telephone number given, nobody was available. When I complained on the way out, I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously. I should say the next time I wanted another room. There was no couch, no coupon or anything else. I also had NO information about the minibar on the ground floor and that there was coffee and cake every afternoon. The mattress is already very well backed up, so you can get the fattening to the floor. Why is it always good to get rid of the frost? 2 points and 5 feet? And why is it good to get rid of the frost?

Reception not occupied, complaint not taken seriously

We were here for a few days and would have liked to stay longer! Nice staff, nice rooms and a great garden with beds. The beach was very close, the city center a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast was right at the table, but it was very tasty. The homemade cake tasted great. We would love to come back!

A lovely villa to relax in

Super fine, modern and cozy hotel. The operator Sarah takes very good care of her guests. Class and delicious breakfast buffet. Very well located. Lake Constance and other restaurants can be reached on foot quickly and easily.

Comfortable, modern, comfortable and pure.

Very welcoming, fantastic staff, excellent breakfast, excellent scenery, with excellent details, I advise families as well as couples who like to explore quiet and relaxing places.

It was a very quiet area. In general, Hagnau seemed to us to be the navel of the Lake Constance. We could quickly reach all the sights by car or boat. We were very warmly welcomed by the couple of Sands and they were always by our side with good recommendations. We especially enjoyed the rich breakfast with relaxing music as well as the opportunity to relax by self-service with coffee, beer, wine, etc. on the terrace or balcony. The hotel as a whole is very lovingly furnished and maintained. We thank the Sands family for a very beautiful week!

It's a small but fine place! What a friendly, hard-working service and very good taste! The location is also a lucky one! Only 5 minutes walk to the beach of Lake Constance (water had a temperature of 26°C in August 2018. Don't forget swim shoes, because stones!) and 10 to the village center. There are plenty of restaurants, bakeries (with delicious ice!) and a great, friendly wine shop. Vinophil? Absolutely! Excellent service! Special wishes were not a problem at all, at my request we went to the second breakfast with ingredients that (I like) were not too common, so don't forget to expect, pieces of breakfast (with delicious ice!) as well as a great, friendly wine shop.
