We stayed overnight in the Old Linde after a party. The room was spacious, quiet. We slept well. Breakfast was served at the table. Breads, bread, cheese, sausage, jam, nutella, honey, chicken, everything fresh and delicious. The special thing is the people here. The service is always friendly and stress-resistant. You feel welcome.

It's a nice place to be a guest.

The staff was very friendly, and the room was big and clean. It was slightly"worn" but otherwise very nice.
The food in the restaurant was ordinary German menu, but nicely done.
I was there on a Friday, and they had a couple of birthday dinners going on, but even if the staff was busy they were very attentive.

Stayed 5 nights with friends. One of my friends received a broken bed where the bottom would unexpectedly sink and fall. Reported the first night, they brought a portable bed and then without informing anyone of us they replaced this bed with the original one (still broken) on night 2. The food service was slowly declining over the days. Owner very rude to us, even complaining to us to his other guests when he thought we could not understand him in German. Plus toilets constantly out of soap and paper towels. Many toilets locked, probably so that guest would not use them thus not needing to clean them. Free WiFi not working in the rooms where you actually need it, only in the restaurant premises. Bathroom door not locking. Main room door not closing unless locked by a key. Will NEVER stay there again.

Super rude owner, broken bed not fixed, food quality declining over the stay

I was greeted so kindly as if I wasn't there for the first time. I had Camenbert on the first night (well, you can't go wrong) and a lot of pork chops the next day, and it was really good. I was arriving late at night and I was invited to dinner. The menu is small but fine. I personally prefer a smaller selection, which speaks to me of more quality. The food is more than good. Even the duck with the red beard and the cloves on the table looked very good! I definitely don't need to eat the service in the restaurant.

Two nights at the country guest house at Linde in Hamersen

I was on a business trip, so just eat something fast and then sleep. Eating was absolutely impossible. The room was a disaster. The bed squeezed endlessly even if you turned around emotionally. Mattresses were impossible. The water in the shower changed from warm to cold alone. Never again.

An absolute attribution

We were at a mushroom buffet on October 6, 2015. There was only one bowl of mushrooms on the buffet, otherwise there were only various mushroom sauces (bags?) The fish was dry - the steak was tough - unfortunately here you are probably looking for the fast euro - and the quality looks different.
