Typical comfortable old style Hotel. Good breakfast, friendly staff. In a lively area with plenty of pubs and restaurants The car park, which was located about 250m away behind the commercial area, was free (providing you arrive early enough- check with the hotel staff.)
It is a little awkward to get into the building but once you know the way to do this, no problem.

This was by far the cheapest hotel we stayed at during this years holiday, not sure if it was the same price for all the rooms or if the room we had was discounted because it was on the top floor with no lift. Either way, that did not matter to us as we got a spacious room with a nice sitting area and a bathroom with a really nice breakfast included for a fraction of the price we had paid the previous night. The hotel did not have any car parking facilities, but we were told that there was a free car park across the bridge where we could safely leave the car over night. 

We would definitely recommend this place to anybody who likes hotels with a bit of an old feel to it.

Good value for the money

Small hotel, locally owned. I stay at places like this intentionally to enhance my travel experience, and this was one of the best. Located right on the market square, you experience the bustle and business of the market within and without. The staff is primarily concerned with the restaurant, but are very helpful to those staying in the hotel. The furnishings are very typical German, and the restaurant is beautiful. You won't find this hotel in all the online booking sites - call or email.

Authentic German Experience

We did a stopover at our trip from Denmark to Austria. The hotel is situated right at the mainsquare in the city. The city is very nice, with lots of old buildings and impressive handcraft all around. The room was clean and big. The furnitures was common furnitures and no hotel style equipment. Breakfast area was good and cosy. The historical citycenter was supplying with lots of choices for food and drinks. A walk at the nearby park area around the three rivers is also reccomendable. Parking is few minutes away, and free at the "Tanzwerder" parkinglot. You get a nice sleep and breakfast for a reasonable pricing.
