Very nice hotel , clean , friendly staff . The problem is the hotel is on top of a hill and a long way from the village and very restricted for restaurants . Although we did find a lovely Italian restaurant , the Napoli , run by Italians , so the food was excellent . Breakfast in the hotel is well stocked , even the boiled eggs had soft yolks .

Good stopover

This hotel with low prices is very good start point for people who want to explore nature, castles and small villages of Bavaria. Rooms are clean, but a little bit tired, comfortable bed and good breakfast. You can get fast Internet access for additional cost 2€ per day. Several good restaurants with Bavarian cuisine are located 1-2 km from hotel (they haven't their own restaurant). Hotel has free parking and in case of late arriving you find keys from your room even all staff is already sleep.

Good price,  good location and friendly staff

Cheap old simple country hotel, old clean room, very nice staff, quite good breakfast, free parking, very quiet location at about 1 km from the town of Heideck, good if you want relax and don't look for luxury.
