Small hotel restaurant 20 minutes from Europa Park, in a small town in Germany and affordable prices. We opted for the  small room  which was not so small, private bathroom across the street.. this room is located upstairs and therefore under the roof.. Velux with electric shutters Lunch available for an extra 7.50€ We tested the restaurant for two nights: very well, my son could order his pizza as he wanted by accompanying Dino, very welcoming as well as his wife.

Have a nice stay at Dino's.

Unfortunately, the evening was an absolute disappointment. Starting with the initially unattended service of 40 minutes of waiting time at a half-baked restaurant for a mixed salad to a supposedly grown-up beef steak that tasted more like fish than meat. After all, the owner was very attentive and initially reduced the bill.

Disappointing

I apologize to any non English speakers, but this is much easier to explain in my first language. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been too. I can not describe to you how awful it was: everything you do not want in a buisness. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes before a member of staff even noticed us. We managed to get the order through to one of the waiters, although this came with its fair share of problems as the waiter serving us didnt even seem to understand German, let alone English. We waited over an hour to get completely average food. They served 3 out of the 4 of us food. We seemed to excuse this as maybe that food just took a little longer to cook (bearing in mind we had already waited for over an hour) but no, they just did not serve this food at all. The staff we unwelcoming and rude. We decided to cancel the order, but the waiter decided to throw the food down on the table, saying something along the lines of: "well you ordered it!". I was disgusted by the way she and the other staff treated me and my family. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING HERE, UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE IGNORED AND BE DISRESPECTED. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TERRIBLE RESTAURANT.

I can't quite understand these negative reviews and all the nerglers. The staff were all very nice. I was able to get a room late at night. The boss himself took me about 20 minutes from the phone to the hotel because my navi wasn't working. The room was clean, W lan worked without problems. I slept very well, I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms or anything else. Breakfast was also very good... there was the finest black forest ham, cheese, pudding, marmalade, nutella, fresh O juice, coffee, etc... it was also cheap.. what do my men get for 58 euros???A golden claw cup of madness!!!! I can really just recommend it!!!

Absolutely further recommended!!!

Positive: The breakfast was decent. The employee lady at breakfast was very nice and friendly. The food in the attached Italian restaurant was very tasty. Negative: The room is absolutely unacceptable for people taller than 1.70 meters. The door already ended at about this height, besides, the room was under the roof and was just as well as the way to the separate (!!) bathroom with roof bars of the same height. My husband is 1.86 meters tall and had to walk permanently. Of course, he still hit his head several times, so we left one night earlier. The host, by the way, was almost not interested, they were just a complete casino.

No more than one night...

So by far one of the worst hotel I know. But let me start with good points first. The hotel is big and clean, more like a transient house. They give chocolates and candies for compliments. €86 for one night for 3 people, not bad.  However, we got troubles for this hotel. First, we waited 30 mins out in the cold for someone to open the  hotel's door even we called 3x to confirm we have a reservation, they speak English so I know they did understand me. At night,  you will hear footsteps and the sound from the next room which is understamdable because it's an old wood house,fine! But the toilet and douche is for petite person only LOCATED OUTSIDE/SEPARATED in the room,not indicated in the web. We asked for 1 queen bed and single bed BUT we got 3 single bed. We were too tired to complain that night and nobody answered in the reception we just found a way to stick the bed together. We paid 2x because they said booking.com did not comfirm the payment when infact it is already paid.. In short,  we didn't like this hotel and so much trouble and it's sooo Noisy THAT I CAN'T SLEEP ENOUGH BECAUSE OF THE FOOTSTEPS I HEAR OUTSIDE BY THE PEOPLE GOING TO THE TOILET DURING THE NIGHT! seriously!  But thanks for opening the door for us though!!

Not so welcomed

After 900 km we decided to stop at Dino's trinacria. Nice little village, nice atmosphere, not many people having come out of vacation so quite quiet. Very nice hotel manager and who speaks (his wife too) very well French which helped us a lot, we found it very welcoming and pleasant. The quality/price ratio correct with breakfast compressed. What a pleasure to go to the restaurant, climb the stairs and find yourself in his room. Little worry on my side, light sleep and a lot of trouble sleeping in view of all the cars that run up to no hour.. If not I highly recommend it because it is not exceptional and it is located 20 minutes from Europa park!

Even though the restaurant was already closed, the host had prepared something for us for breakfast. He also had our breakfast. Very good price. Owners were very friendly and hospitable. We could stay overnight at Europapark (about 20km) and continue the next morning. Too many mosquitoes in the restaurant, the food could at least cover.

There is nothing bad to say about Dino's it really is a home from home. The staff were fantastic the hotel is supper clean and breakfast (€7) each and was delicious this establishment is disability aware and has free parking and WiFi. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending. Enjoy!!

Wonderful

Super restaurant, delicious cooked dishes! Very friendly home, the owners speak 5 languages. (Italian, German, French, English and Arabic) Small balcony, small bathroom and low ceiling for large people. Ideally located next to Strasbourg (proper for the Christmas market) and the best amusement park (Europapark).
