We spent one night at this hotel on a road trip. Our room was simply beautiful, very spacious and very comfortable. The only small room is the lack of air conditioning but this seems to be the case in many hotels in the mountains. It was very hot during our stay and the night was not very relaxing so... The hotel restaurant was closed during our stay but the boss suggested a restaurant near the hotel. He even had the kindness to book it for us. He had sent us an email to indicate this as well as to explain to us where we could park our motorcycle. He was very kind and very attentive when we arrived the next morning. The breakfast was really delicious and the restaurant was so crowded!

This is a great hotel.

We arrived here with a group of knitted people and were warmly welcomed. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and very clean. A good mattress, reading lamps on the bed and a fresh and varied breakfast are provided by the hotel. But what is not easy to describe here is the honest warmth and hospitality that we can experience here. We are welcome with our knitted goods and will be pampered on our stay. The restaurant is not so well visited for nothing, the kitchen is excellent and will become a wonderful round-the-clock experience for the friendly and welcoming service. A heartfelt thank you to our loving hosts.

Cozy family-run hotel with very nice rooms

A pearl in Freiburg. We were a couple in the linde and ate the menu. Chef Rischmeyer said: you don't eat simply - you feel and taste and enjoy. Time and time again we had to ask: What's going on? It's surprising and we can't get to it... once it was fruit, once a delicately fitting spice. Thank you so much for this great kitchen!

A Restaurant to Come Back to

This place is perfect for us. We stayed in the family room, clean, spacious & nice view. Parking is available across the road. Guest can also use the public  swimming pool facility nearby.
Simple breakfast spread but nice. We also had dinner here, it was really nice. However, on Wednesday & Thursday, the restaurant was closed. They provided us with list of restaurant around the area. We chose to dine at Drie Schneeballen, 3 mins away from the hotel. Delicious meal we had there.
Behind the hotel, there's s small bakery. Do try their cake, really really nice.
There's a few hiking trails if you would like to go for a bit of outdoor adventure. We chose the shortest route but end up continue walking to nearby town, Haslach im Kinzigtal. Pretty lil town, Do visit if you are around this area. 
My only feedback to the hotel is to provide fan in the room during summer season. It was quite warm. 
Nonetheless, our stay was really pleasant. 

Perfect holiday getaway

We stayed at the Linde Hotel for 5 days and were very satisfied. The host family was very friendly and very helpful. Hofstetten is located in a beautiful side valley to the Kinzig valley and it is much quieter than in the Kinzig valley. We had a room with a small living area and a large covered balcony. The bathroom was very modern and new. We often ate dinner at the hotel and were always very satisfied. The host cooked himself and very well. The breakfast was rich, and we could always order a steak or mirror dish with bacon. A very recommended address.
